What do you mean? They battled legitimate injury on what many would consider an insignificant play. Those plays however can be the difference in winning and losing. I just think it's ironic that our defense just happens to get a needed minute or two to rebuild lactic acid. It just works out. Props to them for playing through the pain.

I sit about 30 feet from Bill Haslam. While the folk near me have the most invested, I hear very little "displeasure" expressed.

Word gets thrown around, like 'woke'. Gaslighting is a psychological manipulation. Over periods of time, the warfare begins to incorrectly make the other feel at fault. Not sure throwing a flag at a football game is such.

It is the 2:30 (3:30) CBS game...I like our chances for the reasons you stated.

CBS is done with the SEC starting next year.

We were not originally slated to get a 3:30 game this year, so this is a nice surprise/send-off.

I'd rather have the 11:00AM Jefferson-Pilot broadcast with Dave Neal on the call than Brad and Gary and their slobberfest.

Everyone focuses on this dude in the foreground but I always paid attention to the older man behind him in the orange jacket being helped onto the field by the younger man. I’ve wondered often (because I’ve seen it so many times) if they’re father and son. Maybe they’ve had lots of moments together in Neyland and now, on this glorious night, the son is helping his dad onto the field the same way his dad helped him onto the field after the 98 Florida game.

Fan fic, I know. Probably way less poetic.
