On a serious note, people in the Knoxville area will most likely have heard about this. A 29 YO Knoxville deputy was shot and killed on a domestic violence call. He's a former Powell High school graduate, was in school when my daughter graduated. He leaves behind two small children and a wife. He was on his last shift as a patrol officer and was going to be a K9 officer.

Please keep his family in your thoughts and say a little prayer for them. I'm sure they are struggling mightily.

The scum that killed him did take the asphalt temperature challenge thankfully.

Thnaks for bringing this up InVol….Extremely sad….my wife taught school with his mother. He gave more than his life as he donate all his organs so those in need maybe saved. Heroic individual. Please keep them your prayers.

But also think bettors have more confidence in a talented defensive team like TAMU than some let on. All comes down to can Jimbo get out of his own way...and so far...not often.
