Their sound was significantly different from the dudes with glam hair, skin tight pants, and make-up. If selling out means to break from that crap, good for them.

To be fair, my brother who is ten years older than me loved glam bands. I have no issue with people that did. Just wasn't for me.

They never sounded like the glam bands…. They made a big deal out of how they weren’t going to be commercialized like other bands. They proved to be 100% FOS….. It didn’t bother me but it was hilarious bc my friend had bought into their rebel persona.

For the record…. i enjoyed the glam bands and Metallica’s old and new sound.

If that’s the case throw 100$ on the dodgers as World Series winner,…Philly bats will push Atlanta to possibly 5 games…neither team has a strong bullpen so expect a lot of runs…will be a fun series to watch…

Should pick an easier target. I have already put down 5 zombies today. Interesting that they kept denying that they were zombies…this new breed of zombies are wiley. 😳

I remember the backlash from their "real fans" when they put out Load in the mid 90's. I loved that album. It was a huge departure from what they had previously done but so was The Black Album.

It's funny to me when people get mad that a band changes their sound after 15 years. Are they supposed to never grow as artists? Also, Lars is a tool.......had to say it.
