cant hack games have little interest in. if it werent for Braves, Id have zero interest in Pro Ball. Even then, it's more checking in and seeing how they're doing. If he gets his control under control, he’ll be a top 5 closer for a decade
Yessir. We thought it was hilarious that several Brits congratulated us on the victory. I thought they were talking about Tennessee baseball…Wait...you were in England for the 4th?...
Everywhere you turned, there was a historic site. It was truly amazing how much history survived the year of daily bombing they endured in WWII. They are still finding unexploded bombs…there’s a 1,000 pounder that’s too dangerous to try to disarm. It is in a marshy area. It’s been widely cordoned off and left alone. Everywhere you see skyscrapers in London is where bombs destroyed the previous buildings. There is a 15th century pub right next to a high rise. Just remarkable really.Jealous. Would love to go back to England. A few days in London and mostly in the countryside visiting historic sites.
Is it cheaper to go to England on the 4th if you're American?Yessir. We thought it was hilarious that several Brits congratulated us on the victory. I thought they were talking about Tennessee baseball…
They then thanked us for saving their country in WWII especially.
We had a great time over there and everyone was really nice to us.
Context is king. If you don't want to sell it for the price offered then so be it. You can hang on to it, try to sell it somewhere else, or take it out to the woods and shoot it/smash it into tiny pieces. I was simply stating that the business owner that offered you the $70 is trying to make the most money as possible on the transaction. He has to take into account the working capital implications of how long they might have to hold the inventory and the cost that will be incurred to ultimately sell the item. You are thinking about it from a personal and immediate perspective. They already have one of those in stock and maybe they have had it for a long time. Maybe they have been considering lowering the price because it isn't moving as quickly as they hoped. Maybe they over paid for the one they currently have in stock and are hoping to low ball you a little and lower their average cost of acquisition to increase their overall profitability. That's the thing, I have money and don’t need to sell it. I could just as easily keep it and let my kids have it if they’re interested in such things in a few years rather than be scammed by a “business owner” who won’t give a fair shake. Trying to make money is one thing, but offering $70 for something you’re gonna turn around and sell for 5x the money is pretty shady in my opinion.
Umm,The black tops look so much better than the hideous Smokey greys. I wish we’d burn those unis. They’re ugly and we suck in them.
The black top with white pants and the orange top with gray pants are my favorite baseball uniform combos.
You must run a retro game store. So you would rather have no money and a hunk of plastic and electronic components that you never use, than to get some money that you can spend on something you would actually use and enjoy because you are upset that a business owner is trying to make money in their business? Seems a bit silly to me. I mean, you could always try and sell the console yourself, but for the effort I would just take the money and run. It seems like a win win for you and the retro game store.
Thanks for this. I've been a PS person since forever, but iirc the latest gen is still 5 or 6 hundo.Xbox series S is in the $250 range tax and all. Don’t get the X it’s worthless unless you’re a big time gamer and need multiple high GB games downloaded at once
