I’m still catching up on posts, but heard great things about Foursquare. The ones i see by me are never less than $100-$150 and I haven’t been able to talk myself into that yet. Sometimes will make an old fashioned with Rum, but leave out the sugar/syrup. Recommend tryingPlantation is my favorite brand. Affordable but good.
Holmes Cay and Foursquare are the 2 that have been brought to my attention now though
Best thing to do is practice taking the test over and over again. Shoot for answering each question in about 45 seconds. 1 minute per is acceptable.Mine is the same. Excellent student, but not a great standardized test taker. She wants to be an endocrinologist so I worry about the MCAT.
We are years away, but I’m being a dad. Thanks for your advice. It’s good to hear from someone who’s been down that road.Best thing to do is practice taking the test over and over again. Shoot for answering each question in about 45 seconds. 1 minute per is acceptable.
I used to be a horrible test taker because I didn’t trust myself.
If you limit the time to 45-60 seconds, you take away the ability to second guess yourself and then your test scores go up.
It sucks at first, but once you’ve got it down, it takes all the self imposed drama out taking a test.
My test scores improved by 2 standard deviations which I was told isn’t possible…obviously it’s possible.
Tell her that if she truly wants it, then overcoming her testing issues will be the key.
Good luck
I’ll have to check that out! Yeah the Foursquare are all heavily allocated from my understandingI’m still catching up on posts, but heard great things about Foursquare.
