Is OT Brian Grant getting any pt this year?

I have not looked close, but they seemed to weight really heavy on returning offense/defense. Which is dumb in the portal era imo. They also clearly did some things to spark controversy and conversation. Vol twitter is a big target to drive discussion. Arch Manning signed a contract with them. You can clearly see they aligned with connected guys in the form of Sanders and Mannings. Marketing, marketing, marketing.

It is a game and not real life.

I’m going to say that I really hope that everyone is overlooking the Vols this Fall. I hope that they chalk our lopsided destruction of oklahoma to them “rebuilding “ and not that our team is awesome.
I hope that the trouncing of the gators at Neyland is seen as a fluke and not just a dominant team in our Volunteers.
When we beat bama by two touchdowns it will be due to first year coaching jitters that comes with playing in such a hostile environment.
But when we also beat uga by 2 touchdowns, the media will finally realize that this team is for real and that nothing will stop us.

Really need for some of these freshman staff recruited to have an impact. As we've heard from the talking heads, non stop.

Gotta start panning out with some of the OL evals. Else, its just a filled roster spot.

So much talk about the mlb (not the Vols in the draft), what’s your favorite this or that, and the new football video game is making it easier to get caught up.

I don’t think he’s a patient enough runner yet for the system. But we’ll see

As probably his biggest proponent during his recruitment, I hope he does but I am more confident that our staff is really comfortable with our total room. The big question is whether his speed and athleticism can progress to make his vision and natural gamer instincts pay off. Always seemed to make the right cut, get the tough yards, and give more than he took at the point of contact.

Not going to be the biggest, or fastest, but maybe the most productive in sustaining drives by maximizing his opportunities. Kind of had that drag himself back to the huddle and then have another productive play consistently, always falling forward.

Was also good at limiting contact once past the chains with late cuts taking angles away from defenders or stepping OOB. Many challenged his number of carries, but discounted his ability to limit his punishment which enabled him to get those carries.

Hope it translates when he is not likely to be THE workhorse as he was in HS. COULD really be effective in those tempo driven drives keeping the defense on the field.

I think all our guys can have a role, none really duplicating another.
