I have three kids, a full time job, and a 27 year military career. I have limited band width for sports teams. I was a Titans fan from their first game in Memphis. I was downtown in February without a shirt on and blue paint on my chest and face when they had the parade for them after they lost the SB. I gave them so much time on Sundays and Mondays and reading training camp reports and follow roster moves only to watch them make stupid move after stupid move after stupid move. I still find myself checking the scores for their games when I try to tell myself I don't give a crap anymore. I follow UT with a passion and don't think I could ever give up my UT sports. So when the bandwidth shrinks and I can only follow one team that continuously breaks my heart it is going to be UT over any other sports franchise. So, you don't know my level of fandom and the time and energy I put into to cheering for the Titans. I need to spend time with my wife and kids a whole lot more than I need to watch the Titans put together another 8-8 season and lose in the first round of the playoffs. You aren’t wrong, save a couple years when they hit on the right combination. Vrabel got stubborn, Robinson got too cute with draft picks. But they changed decision makers.
If you were that willing to give up your fandom, we’re you really a huuuuuge fan?
Eh, the regular season is 17 games now.I have three kids, a full time job, and a 27 year military career. I have limited band width for sports teams. We should be 5th at the lowest..but they’re gonna learn..lolView attachment 660142
There’s a huge drop off after the top 8-9. There’s a realistic scenario in which the top 7 teams finish with 9+ wins. And the bottom 5 don’t win more than 4 games.
Is it just me or would anyone else LOVE to play Mizzou in a first round playoff gameMizzou may end up lower, but I won't start doubting OM until evidence is given to do so. Lane has 10+ wins in 2 of his 3 full seasons, returns a stud vet qb, and a load of transfers.
That said, most would say, "well Mizzou just spanked us" same as fans talk about Iowa or others. But last year was last year. I hope to god we're better than them, but their schedule is just straight ass like you said.

You do realize that Georgia Tech used to be a member of the SEC. Right? No thanks to all Big 10 schools. There's knly 4 traditional Big 10 schools worth having. Two of them are almost to the Canadian border (Mich and Wisc). The other 2, OSU and PSU, just don't fit in the SEC culture. PSU is almost in the south-hating Northeast and have been mediokra since Sandusky scandal despite a couple years of manufactured media hype due to their coach.
OSU would fit from an athletic and academic profile but not culture wise. They're a Midwestern version of Texas with worse in-state recruiting and are hundreds of miles further north than the KY border. Their fans hate the SEC and many look down on the South..... which is hilarious if you've been to Blowhio.
Vandy is a founding member, has some good sports programs and is academically better than GT. Every league needs a couple of doormats so why get rid of them and bring in GT? It gains the SEC nothing and GT would hate being in the same conference as UGA. Also, I like having the league doormat be our in-state rival and would not want them moving to a weak conference where they can win more in football and recruit Nashville better.
So you are a huge Vols fan, and a fair weather Titans fan got it.I have three kids, a full time job, and a 27 year military career. I have limited band width for sports teams. I can't say with any true level of accuracy, but it sure didn't work out for me.How often does getting back with an ex work out?
Well... They left so it kind of backs up his point.I can't say with any true level of accuracy, but it sure didn't work out for me.
That wasn't my point though. His reference to GA Tech hating being in a conference with Georgia made it seem that he was unaware that GA Tech once was a member of the SEC.
