Marilyn has to be on looks alone. Audrey shined in her movies, now I just put a date stamp on myself. . Actually, I love old movies and try to catch them when I can. Have you watched ‘All about Eve’, ‘Stalag 27 or ‘Stella Dallas’?

I never liked to watch Bette Davis. But then someone got me to watch "All About Eve" and... wow. What a performance! Made me really understand the "pre-Madonna" personality that so often accompanies great performers. Smartly written, too.

I like when they're handing Eve the award at the beginning, and they freeze the frame... and it looks as if she's reaching out for the dueling pistol on the wall behind her--pointing at her.

I think there must be confusion about what internal dialogue means. How could someone reason at all if they lacked the ability to think a thought and then question the thought? Etc. Note: I mean the same "voice" or self! Not multiples like Weez.

OTOH, ... Maybe that's right.

It's weird to think about. . . also, I called it dialogue, but it's monologue.

In talking with some Jr's and Sr's in the program today who gave us a tour I'm even more convinced this is the right path for her. They were telling us the head of the Dept at Martin is involved with review and acceptance of students into their Vet school.

These two young ladies showed us their building, labs, surgical facilities and ask if their barns/paddocks today. Small class sizes and professors are very involved and invested in their students success.

We've even decided not to do a TN Tech visit because it's perfect for her, especially transitioning from a small unit school.

Anyone Gassed up about the commitment coming today?

Gotta be honest. I got no clue about the prospects in football recruiting outside of one or two names that folks keep talking about. With the portal now the "thing", recruiting is kind of an afterthought for me these days. Throw in the supernova that is Vitello and baseball plus Barnes rebirth as an offensive minded fella and football has kind of taken a back seat with me. Don't know why. Just not that worked up over the upcoming season.

I’ve flown multiple times in my younger years (shut up Weezer, glitch or any of you that’s points out my age. I’m free anytime to meet at a local Waffle House.
