Gainesville got a cute vibe and plenty of good spots, all around the main square. We like Recess (little known thing here - wine prices are unheard of good) and Yellowfin. Atlas for pizza (place called Peyton’s pie company supposed to be some good competition but I haven’t been personally). Heard the stag chophouse is good and if you like music then the new bourbon bros is a good venue (no idea about their food).

Dawsonville Blue bicycle bistro only place I can recommend in that area unless you are down for cheap eats and chains.

Cumming I don’t know that well but they have exploded growth wise so I’m sure google reviews won’t lead you astray there.

Off the beaten path, if you like steakhouses and are willing to go to canton, I have been told by more than one person that J Michael Prime is the best steakhouse in the state.

Great recommendation on bourbon bros. That food was fantastic. Plus there was a concert next door. So I’m pretty sure the atmosphere was probably a little more amped up. Pork chop was great.
Then we went to recess and got some wings soooo good. Thank you. Today we are going to the pavilion in I think Alpharetta?

The redwood with a hole you can drive a car through is pretty cool.

Also there’s a sprawling tree in I think Cumberland island or near there that’s pretty awesome. EDIT: its the angel oak and it’s in Charleston. These trees can also apparently be found throughout southern Louisiana and I believe the oldest one on record is actually in California.

You ever caught 2 bass on the same lure at the same time? I've seen it on fishing shows but I've never done it.

I was fishing in Canada and one of the guys had about an 18” pike on his line. About 3ft from the boat a 42” pike came and grabbed it. They do not let go. It was pretty awesome.

Turrentine at FS and ja thomas and Jo thomas rotating at ss. Staff has been high on slaughter I’d think he’d backup turrentine. Also, apparently will brooks/wright (not sure which) is in this conversation.

Spraggins is anything but. Also, we’re gonna start sham (a tackle) at guard and I have to imagine his raw physical traits are gonna help him excel. Nowhere else are we unproven. Now if we don’t stay healthy, I’d be concerned.

Everybody complained about Danielson window licking for Alabama on CBS and shouted out loud when the news broke that ABC/ESPN would be showcasing SEC Games.

Not so fast my friend, now what you will have is Greg McElroy window licking for Georgia and Tessitore for the new additions to SEC. Sometimes the grass isn't as green as you assume on the other side.

It surprised me. I jumped a little. It was close enough to the bank where I could see it come out of the dark and snatch the bluegill. I almost reeled it in, it didnt want to let go of BG. It finally spit it out when I was about to pull it onto the bank.

A buddy of mine was fishing off a rock a few feet into a river. Nearly had his trout landed. A moccasin blasted out from under the rock and took the trout off his line. He jumped about 47 feet up and back. Pretty sure he peed his pants.
