Disclaimer: I realize that it's just summer league basketball and most of the guys playing are either 2nd or 3rd year guys trying to break out, recent draftees, G League players, end of bench depth or guys who probably never see much real game action.

That said.....Dalton really is looking like he is going to continue to elevate his game to the competition he plays and be a high level NBA player who is immediately in the rotation and probably starting eventually as a rookie. He stands out as one of the best and most consistent guys in every summer league game and against better competition than he typically played in college.

I hope he stays healthy because he is looking like he is probably going to have the best NBA career of any Vol in history if he stays healthy. I can't wait to watch him this season....first time that I will watch regular season NBA in two decades and nearly a decade for the playoffs.
Slow your roll. I like DK but he’s got a long way to go before he passes Bernard King, Allan Houston and Dale Ellis in the NBA.

I got stung this morning by something that resembled a wood bee or bumble bee, not sure what it was. It somehow got stuck to my sock and kept singing me right about where the joint on the inside of your ankle is. Skin is red and slightly swollen, looks like about 4 to 5 seperate stings in about the same area.

It really started to bother me after late lunch with the DIL and the twin boys. Got really stiff while sitting and now the pain in that joint is pretty stout. Don't think I'm going to get much sleep tonight. Any suggestions?

Don't even know how they will hold up against an SEC schedule. It's more likely they'll hit a wall than it is they win the conference.
I think they are as elite as anybody at the skill positions, but they can't have off days like they do in the BIG 12. They've got an easy schedule, but I don't see them beating UGA and I feel like A&M gets them.

Benadryl? It’s an antihistamine and makes you drowsy too.

Take benadryl. Two. Will help with swelling and sleep. That is what you are dealing with is swelling. You could take a pain reliever like Tylenol or Advil also. Lastly ice can help with swelling, but mostly just keep that joint elevated.

You do know Bernard King is in NBA hall of fame ….right??
Alan Houston avg’d like 17 pt a game….Bk was 25 ish.
If not for knee injury that made him retire at 32 he would’ve been one of the top 10 players ever….he was still rated #50 last time I saw a ranking!
Uh….that’s kinda what I was saying. Did you read the post I was replying to.

I’m allergic to yellow jackets. The posts before mine are right. Benadryl. I have to be careful of the stuff, I react differently to over the counter stuff. I apparently take to stuff like that and anesthesia to well and hard to wake me up after surgery. Good luck, old timer remedy. Wet tobacco or mashed up raw potato will draw the poison out.

Just spit balling for a moment.

Y’all know what’s cool? When I see a twitter post on this site, I have to dive into it to determine if it’s football or baseball.
Are we flirting with a 4/5 ⭐️ football talent or is Tony V. and co. pulling a stud from the portal.

What a time to be a Vols fan.

Happy Monday

July 22, 2024: This is a time when you can bring to a conclusion things that have been a bother or concern. The door will be opened to deal with issues that have seemed to be insurmountable. Do not hesitate to take the next step; it will be one step at a time in putting things in order, says the Lord. Put your trust in Me. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

Lots of benadryl, steroid cream. Ice it. Sorry that I just saw this.
