There hasn't been a lot of noise about anyone. There's a possibility that Seldon will be back sooner rather than later. Desean Bishop will probably be RB #2 or 3 until Seldon returns.

One of the db's is probably gonna be a walk-on that's been playing well. People seem to think Bloop Carter will be getting a lot of PT.

There hasn't been much buzz yet. You haven't missed much. We'll start hearing more accurate stuff in a few weeks when fall practice starts.

Couple items

1) Bru McCoy will be a 1,000 yard receiver, book it. Boss.

2) Multi million dollar budget and we show up with a fuzzy mushroom mic, that players have to hold.

Reminds me of a low budget Triumph interview.

Yeah my predictions as of now is that the secondary will have the most unexpected lineup.

At this point not sure who the 4 or 5 guys are even going to be...names I'd project starting somewhere as of today.

0 - William Wright, he's the former walk-on but has been here 4 years and is a RS-Sr.
2 - Andre Turrentine, entering 3rd year and has played in 23 games the last 3 last year he started as well

I think those 2 are most likely playing early and likely starting. The other guys I think will play, but not sure they'll start or not are as follows in order of likelihood they start.

4 - Jourdan Thomas, entering year 3 and likely the STAR starter
3 - Jermod McCoy, 1st year here transfer from Oregon State but seems to have the size and skillset to be playing early and often
9 - Jakobe Thomas, MTSU transfer and has really good size at 6'2" 200lbs could see him in the mix, lots of experience although at a lower level

Younger guys that were recruited here that were highly rated and could take over
1 - Rickey Gibson III
23 - Boo Carter
24 - Jordan Matthews
25 - Kaleb Beasley

S - Turrentine
S - (Will Brooks, J. Slaughter or Jak Thomas)
STAR - Jo Thomas

S - 1 from above
STAR - Boo Carter

If Boo Carter ends up beating out Jordan Thomas at STAR. Jordan Thomas would probably start at Safety.

I'm just now getting to the rating of different position groups and I gotta say all the ones I'm seeing so far are sleeping on LB'S!

I think the linebackers are going to be nasty this year!

Grew up with them in Chattanooga and there used to be some in the DFW area…one close to me. Went there with my now wife for our fourth date.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I think Bru will have a quiet year.

He has never had much quickness, and who knows how he comes back from that nasty injury.

I think he'll get a lot of run in some early games like NC State and Oklahoma, as a guy who knows this offense as well as anyone. But I think he's the third best WR out of himself, Brazzel, and Squirrel. With WR being as deep as it is, could see him getting phased out a bit as the season goes on by Thornton, Nimrod, or even Matthews.

Feels like Arion Carter has been kinda forgotten. People were really high on him last year. Maybe he makes a big jump.
