To win this game, our OL has to hold up in pass protection and Milton and the recievers have to make plays...that will open it up for us to run more effectively and be balanced.


If we come out predictably "running the damn ball" on 1st and 2nd down every series...then expect to be in 3rd and long all game....and we have SUCKED on 3rd and long all year.

Our OL has been mediocre protecting the QB, but it’s been opening up holes like crazy in the run game all year.

Against South Cackalacky...which does not possess a defensive front anywhere near TAMUs level..

"Run the dam ball" is what you do against mediocre fronts like SC...against really good talented fronts you better hold up in pass-pro and complete passes or it's a long f'n day.

Do you think our OL is mediocre with Coleman, Lane, Mays, Spraggins, Mincey? I agree with the line we had without Mays and Mincey but I like that 5.

Do you think our OL is mediocre with Coleman, Lane, Mays, Spraggins, Mincey? I agree with the line we had without Mays and Mincey but I like that 5.

I will tell you after Saturday....I honestly don't know, but you are right about this and it's a good point....this will NOT be the sane OL that got embarrassed and humiliated at Gainesville....this will be a much better OL.

I haven't seen this OL play against a really good front yet...so forgive me for not assuming they can cut it until I see it.

Ok...I agree that calling it mediocre was wrong based on those facts. I still don't KNOW they can hold up against a really talented defensive front.

Do you think we are gonna run for 250+ against this front either way?...I sure as hell don't..so the OL better play well in pass-pro and Joe and Co better complete passes if we are gonna get a win.

TAMU will want to take away the run and make this game a ugly slog...and they have the ability to do it if Joe and Co continue to not make plays consistently in the passing game.

We can blow them out at home IF the passing game goes off, or at least plays effectively enough to help open up the running game.

I think we pass and run well against ATM. My concerns are less about Mllton or OL there, and more about who replaced Bru.

Of course the Defense has to play well too...and who knows with the Jekyll and Hyde performances put up by them under Banks
