Lots of college stars don’t have drakes pro career.Yes. He's a two-time national champion at Alabama. Alabama won ZERO national champions because Kenyan Drake was on their team. He was never the starting running back at Alabama. He's been a journeyman in the NFL. Many guys are here are proclaiming that Seldon is a future star. Kenyan Drake is no star.
So we are going to have to endure a week of posts about how our OL sucks and Joe sucks and everything sucks. I am not saying we should acknowledge the short comings of this particular team, but A&M has their own list of shortcomings too. They are not an unstoppable beast that will steam roll us unmercifully. They have a very talented, very effective defensive front...our OL is mediocre...so explain again.
You thing saying "run the damn ball" makes it happen?
To win this game, our OL has to hold up in pass protection and Milton and the recievers have to make plays...that will open it up for us to run more effectively and be balanced.
If we come out predictably "running the damn ball" on 1st and 2nd down every series...then expect to be in 3rd and long all game....and we have SUCKED on 3rd and long all year.
I keep saying, the grandson is the only hope. And a "hope," I admit, on the grounds that it is unknown whether he is an idiot. That distinguishes him in that oil-pin and oil-hat famuhlee (Brian Kelly voice). But hey, Oilers gonna oil.
I have no idea what that means, but the franchise is a dumpster fire with nary a fireman in sight.
It doesn’t mean everything. But it means something. Especially when it’s mid season and by your college roommate.
