The event is held in Omaha every year for the fact there are no other festivities going on in that area to take away from the event.

Except that the U.S. Olympic swimming trials have been in Omaha the last 4 times during the CWS. It’s now been moved this year to Indy, but it creates a bunch of people, as I found out in 2021.

He’s also on stronger antibiotics now.

No bloodwork, just did x rays to make sure he wasn’t blocked. Bloodwork comes if he doesn’t get better with the current treatment.

As for how he is now, he’s sleeping on my wife’s legs. He growls if she tries to move, but I think that’s more because of how much of a toll the vet takes on him. He’s never liked going outside, much less in a car and to a vet office. Hope he’s better soon. He’s usually very active and playful, hasn’t been that way in a month now.

Update from the wife- he groomed himself for the first time in a while. He was shedding and kind of stunk the past few days, which was just another in the list of symptoms something was wrong. Good to see him have the shiny coat back.

I didn't like Greg Olson as the color guy. I like him as a person and liked him as a player, but he was too over the top and didn't have a good voice for TV. 2-3 hours of someone sounding super amped up was too much for me. Glad he's being replaced.

I actually liked Olsen. He breaks it down well and knows what he is talking about. Once Brady was signed a couple of years ago, I am pretty sure he openly admitted that his status was in the air. He will still do well. It is crazy that Fox is going with someone who has never done it as their #1 guy. CBS kind of did it with Romo, too, but that's just a pure ratings decision and not sure the insight will be any better.
