Talking about all these heels (the old school ones) reminds me of one of the greatest and most underrated cartoons of all time. Hulk Hogan’s rockin wresslin.Macho Man
Mr. McMahon
Flair
Piper (somebody stabbed him at a show, they hated him so much!!! No Hulkamania without him.)
DiBiase
Pre-Starcade 97 Hollywood Hogan (greatest, most devastating heel turn in the history of the biz...and, a brilliant move.)
Any one of these 6 could be #1.
But, do you put Austin on this list? Rock? Triple H, definitely...one of the greatest heels ever. What about Andre? Hitman was a great heel. Angle. HBK. Mr. Perfect. Rude. Honky Tonk Man. Billy Graham. Larry Zybysko (i wasnt old enough to see it firsthand, but i can only imagine whenever he turned on Bruno...some consider it the greatest heel turn of all time). Funk. Vader. Sgt Slaughter was DESPISED after his turn during the Gulf War (his best work ever). Sheik is definitely up there. Jake, too (Jake deserves more credit as being one of the ABSOLUTE greatest to ever do it. He was the total package...ring work, on the mic, promos, the whole nine).
Corporate Rock...all I should have to say. Played a MASSIVE role in getting Austin even more over.
If we're including managers, Brain and Cornette are DEFINITELY on the list...at the top.
I could talk about this forever...
Had the same thing happen to me driving home from work on I-40 one Christmas Eve. It was definitely shaking.Just got home. Man, we were a hot knife through butter.
Also, passed a wrong way driver on I-40 neath Gordonsville. That shook me. I know he was drunk. Flashed my lights and everything and he didn’t stop. Extremely deadly situation. Hope the cops caught that drunk bastard and sent him to jail for a hot minute. He coulda taken lives.
Did you get her name?Freshman year, 2004, a bright-eyed and bushy-tailed engineerVOL was making his debut on campus. Literally first day of classes. Was walking toward the UC. Had never seen so many cute girls. One caught my eye at the money wall. Cha Ching. Well remember the staircase and how the first tread was on a slope? I missed and stumbled forward, backpack displacing forward over my head, creating additional momentum I couldn’t control, sent me stumbling for what seemed 100 feet.
I died inside.
I wouldn’t say calling someone a halfwit is a “playful swipe”. JmoYou get overly wired up when confronted. It’s funny to me that I didn’t even keep the receipt of the poster who argued with me over Bishop. I stated fairly early after his addition to the signing class that he would be a valuable asset before the end of his time here. Dude doubled down saying he would never “log a significant carry”. It was his OPINION. GFW took a playful swipe at you and you respond with a fatwa. Drop a defcon level and enjoy this fun team with the rest of us.
I've seen a little t of people complain about the onside kick. I think it's 100% coaching. He was coached that if there's a huge gap onside it. Which is smart because you trust your defense and there's a good chance of recovery
I put my head down in shame after the whole team would get to every 3rd down and still put their hands up.Said that to my wife last night. They imploded while we were exploding. It was a true bloodbath.
Little vol has pretended to be Leonard little for years and regularly takes swipes at players on our team. I can call him stupid, dumb, halfwitted, schizo, etc all day long and not lose any sleep over it. He’s constantly writing fan fic and passing it off as reality and when called on it goes into one of his many personalities to play victim. I don’t care if I’m being mean, he’s one of the worst posters on this board.
I’m not responding to any more of this, or his nonsense. I’ve made my points and I’m sure he’ll come back with “his” “response” and “comments” over a series of “messages” and my ignore list will likely “grow” from “zero” to “one”
