Recruiting Football Talk VIII

I understand. I just think there may have been a little look ahead involved as well. I will fully by in to the Connor station conspiracy. Let's just let this dead on play out one game at a time.call it BVS if you want. I just want to fully embrace each week. It's like decorating for Christmas the day after labor day. There are do many other holidays before then. Let's embrace them all.
It's not either/or. We can embrace each week and win while expecting great things for the season.

If by some chance there was some look-ahead, I'm not sure the fanbase would have caused it. It sounds like you're giving us, as fans, a little more power than we actually have.

And no disrespect intended, but who is this "we/let's"? If we use those words, let's do it this way: "We each have the right to fan as we choose. Let's respect that." Or: "We don't all still suffer from BVS, so let's just hope those still suffering one day find a cure." ;)

Well, it looks like there are quite a few more riders on Doc's bandwagon today. Some will admit it and some are still afraid to come out of the closet about it. What do your eyes tell you: not what some analyst or talking head says? What happens when you cast away the BVS chains?

Our guys can win every game because they are good to great on both sides of the ball with special teams being adequate to good. Still need to stay healthy and not get screwed by Sankey's striped shirts. But it feels like '98.
I’m willing to say we’re a playoff team under the new system. Beyond that, it’s too early to know what we’re seeing yet given the trash competition we’ve played so far. If we go into Norman and thrash OU, I’ll start to dink the kool-aid. I’m still expecting a freshman game or two from Nico, but UGA and Bama look like the only two teams on our schedule that are in our class.

Of course you would. My guess is 95 out of 100 fans on this board would do the same if it meant increasing our chances of winning. Now, we don’t like to admit it though. We may have been screwed as part of it but deep down we know we’d steal signs from the Gators or sneak around the Bama sideline to prep for a game against Saban. College football has always been about pushing up to and over that line.
I wouldn‘t so i guess i‘m one of the 5. I can understand why that fanatic did it but that doesn't mean i think it’s ok for any of our fans to do the same.
