Willis is a backup in this league, not much more. Tannehill didn't have much left, and behind this o line he'd struggle too. When you release Tannehill, and trade Willis(who has more wins than Levis) what else do you say? And you check the draft board for next year and the top 3 options are Sanders, Beck & Ewers. Woof
You’re right on Nico, get that slide down, young man. Finally got time to think about the game last night, and basically everything thus far:
• Crowd energy was insane
• Felt like a top SEC matchup
• The Stroke >>>>>> Friends in Low Places
• We were a hot knife through butter
• Vanilla play calling on both sides
• This is the best setup for a run we’ve ever had
• Nico: learn how to slide
• Mike Matthews. Remember that name.
• The offense can be way better
• The defense is 2002 good…or better
• We can defend the slant
Glad we got to go. Last minute decision when other stuff got moved around.
I'd not seen the play earlier and was astounded when I did see it. It's bizarre that he basically did the same thing AGAIN this week. He learned...I’ve said on this forum that I believed in Levis. That the coaches rave about him in practice and the players really like him……but only games count.
I’m out on him. I’ll continue to root for him and hope he does a 180……
Now…..I agree that CBC can’t throw him under the bus, but sidestepping the question wouldn’t have been a terrible thing either.
Beck or Ewers are both smarter than Levis……
They might not have the athleticism and arm, but they ain’t making those kind of decisions on the field.
I’m fine with getting experience, learning the system, bad throws, etc…….but NOT the decisions he’s making consistently.
He's as professional as it gets and doesn't rely on hottakes or soundbites. No sensationalism. When there's a major issue or news item he will be critical but he doesn't go out of his way to be.While I really like Josh Pate, is it me or does he always seem to have a middle of the road take on every subject? So as to not upset anyone maybe. Can’t be critical of this coach or this player because he may want to have access to them later, etc.
He probably deserves another 4 games before we judge him, he’s not started a full season and he’s on a new coach already.I’ve said on this forum that I believed in Levis. That the coaches rave about him in practice and the players really like him……but only games count.

It's Williams 2nd game in NFL. Not many Rookie QB's do well in inaugural season, I watched plenty that wound up being HOF players and have crappy rookie year.OK new question, Williams Levis or Richardson is the worst? I thought it was clearly Richardson, but Williams is really trying to compete.
I think the left side of the OL. And I know it sounds weird, but maybe the WRs. Just because they’re unproven. Nico is a cheat code. What would be the weakest part of our offense in your opinion? Not that any part is really that weak, but in comparison to the whole?
Is it QB, just because there is still growth to be had? Is the situation really that good?
To me, it’s Nico’s awareness and speed of reads. He missed a wide open Bru on the first or second drive. Tried to force a couple passes that woulda been picked off by better DB’s. Didn’t matter, but it could in a big game. His skill level is sky high, but he still hasn’t put it all together yet. He makes up for it by insane accuracy on long throws. What would be the weakest part of our offense in your opinion? Not that any part is really that weak, but in comparison to the whole?
