Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Why doesn’t ut build a big parking lot on the otherside of the river and build a pedestrian bridge across the river connecting the university and the parking lot?
Are there shuttles, either municipal or private, operating from remote parking areas on game days?

As much as I like my independence, and don't mind the exercise of a long walk, I've discovered that shuttles provide their own unique experience, with opportunities to have conversations with people I would otherwise never meet.

100%. Many think Yellowstone event is a once or twice in lifetime of Earth event.

I'm more worried about Sullivan and Carter County drivers than I am Super volcano's.

Fwiw, each year, inevitably one of the Park guests thinks it funny to do a cannonball into one of the features. Unfortunately those beautiful colors you see are result of diff colored algal blooms, and temperature variation. Usually in the hundreds of degrees.

Mr and or Mrs Cannonball end up unretrievable at bottom of the pit.

As employees, you are made to watch a video. Which, when I worked there was on VHS with 4:3 aspect ratio...of the greatest dumbasses ever caught live.

One of them a Mom puts her toddler on a Bison to take a pic. By time she turns to take pic the Bison bucks, and toddler flies across the screen. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Routine events where people turn to gawk at a Bear, and hit a pedestrian. People gored to death.

Let's worry about Super Volcanos.
Well, the super-volcano will get more than the dumb people.

I live in Vonore and take a shuttle from Foothills Mall. Easy as pie and well worth the cost. First bus leaves 3 hours before kickoff and last bus leaves form the stadium 1 hour after the game is over.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m thrilled that we don’t suck anymore…but dang I miss the days of finding game tickets for $60. I’m trying to get over sticker shock for what I just paid for homecoming tickets.
I wonder if waiting until the 'day of' on the resell market is a good idea for football tickets.

Mhmmmmm. Loved grabbing 2 for 70 a piece.
Now it's a whole damn paycheck just for Uconn.

Finally some free time to get caught up on here. Took the cruise week before last and it's been balls to the wall with our garden since. We've did 119 qts of green beans, 20 quarts of spaghetti sauce, 18 qts of tomatoes, 28 qts of tomato juice and 40 pints of relish over that time! Oh, and 22 doz. ears of corn!
When is dinner time at the GiggerVol house???
