Recruiting Football Talk VIII

I went to sleep too early and woke up at 2. Won't be able to sleep again this morning. . .

Good news is I had a fever dream. It was a lot like how the Rosetta Stone was decoded.

I was on a 40' yacht/cabin cruiser named "SweetAsSoda" a few hours down river of Neyland Stadium. We were preparing to start the final race of the VolNation Regatta. We were in second place, just a few points behind a local boat builder named outVOLuntary.

We were about to sabotage his boat to secure a win and claim the 10 pack of exclusive season tickets to all Vols' major sports and a vacation to a holler in Roane county for a purple Yeti sightseeing adventure.

A huge storm was rolling in and one of our crew-members was late. Then Coach Heupel appeared and jumped on-board and said he would lead us to the title.

We got in our positions and just as the horn sounded to start the race, I woke up.

This all leads me to believe that we're missing a huge opportunity to have a VolNation Regatta with the Vol Navy for our first few home games before the weather gets too cold.

A charity event with the money being split between St Jude's and The Vol Club in honor of SweetAsSoda.

Winners get season tickets to football, basketball, baseball, and women's basketball. 👀
That’s an awesome idea. But would it end up looking like a chase scene out of one of the Mad Max movies? 😎tmp.gif

To all of you worried about Yellowstone...this is not a magmatic thing. When you walk around the thermal areas in Yellowstone there are dozens of old geysers and springs that have blown up, a lot of them were much bigger explosions than the one the other day.

I've been right by the one that just blew up in Biscuit Basin.
So you are the high priest of the super Volcano at Yellowstone?

@Ulysees E. McGill if I may offer my ignore list as fodder should a sacrifice be called for? 😂 just kidding, sorta…

100%. Many think Yellowstone event is a once or twice in lifetime of Earth event.

I'm more worried about Sullivan and Carter County drivers than I am Super volcano's.

Fwiw, each year, inevitably one of the Park guests thinks it funny to do a cannonball into one of the features. Unfortunately those beautiful colors you see are result of diff colored algal blooms, and temperature variation. Usually in the hundreds of degrees.

Mr and or Mrs Cannonball end up unretrievable at bottom of the pit.

As employees, you are made to watch a video. Which, when I worked there was on VHS with 4:3 aspect ratio...of the greatest dumbasses ever caught live.

One of them a Mom puts her toddler on a Bison to take a pic. By time she turns to take pic the Bison bucks, and toddler flies across the screen. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Routine events where people turn to gawk at a Bear, and hit a pedestrian. People gored to death.

Let's worry about Super Volcanos.
