We got shut out in a half for the first time since Pruitt in 2019

We refused to pass unless we were on 3rd down. Even a bad defense can handle you when you do that. It was inexplicable.

Had hoped we would have pulled it out like the Okie game. We played bad enough to lose. A lot of upsets this weekend. It’s a long season and the playoffs are still a possibility.
Normally, this would’ve ruined my week but hopefully no bad injuries because health is key this season. Below is for those that understand but if you got nothing good to say than keep it to yourself. Go Vols!

We never have young talent. Just senior talent. And that senior talent actually isn't that talented. But we'll continue to believe that we have a bunch of young talent waiting in the wings. But that young talent will become poor senior talent. The cycle will continue forever.

Comparing a 19 year old to a 24 year old is ****ing insane.

Not an excuse or blaming officials, but that might be the worst called game against us to a team not named Bama or Georgia I have seen.

Not one holding call on their OL and not one defensive secondary penalty. And plenty very obvious ones occurred right in front of officials.

Could be part of the reason our WRs can’t get separation.

Refs were really, really bad.

To be truly fair, McCoy was great is pass D and they completed 3 or 4 balls over him that were just perfect throws (typical for our luck)

I agree but their qb could bake a cake back there. That's typical banks. We he blitzed he got pressure and the results seemed good. When he set back and tried to cover they converted a majority of the time. Thats vintage Banks. Remember when he gave up 4th and 50 to levis by dropping 9 (i think) in coverage?

Bad news is no way we're getting in unless we beat everyone left on the schschedule

I get a lot of **** for not liking Banks, but this is why. He doesnt blitz anywhere close to enough.
