I mean, it’s not 100%. But I really don’t expect to lose. That was when Dooley was coach, and I even thought we had a chance in 2012.

I was in the stands when we were up 9-0 going into the 4th, and loss 10-9. My 4 years as a student were…. rough

It’s weird he threw for 75 TDs and only 7ints in his HS career, but only 60% completion. He averaged around 225 yards per game in his career, 197 his senior season.


Maybe Nico will only be a game manger type QB like the AJ McCarron’s of the world….just more athletic.

But again, I tell myself he is a freshman, there’s plenty of time. I also go and look at Mariota’s freshman season, which Nico is on pace to surpass passing yards:

- 68%
- 32 TD / 6INT
- 205 yards per game

I think Nico will be a slightly bigger Jayden Daniels when it’s all said and done. Daniels didn’t do much until his last year of college and then he exploded, but his talent was evident dating back to HS. Nothing changes about Nico’s potential, the question now is we may see a redshirt junior year of Nico after what was thought to be a 3 year college career. And once he puts on 10 more pounds, with GM & Merk backing him up, I believe coaches unleash him full time to run the ball.

Would like to see Ross lined up a few 3rd downs opposite of JP. No other edge guys are consistently in the backfield enough IMO. We need to unleash a few of these 5 star talents. Another thing stood out while reading the PFF scores, West need way more snaps over Bailey than he’s currently getting. He’s been our best d-lineman yet he didn’t play 20 snaps. Insane

Soooooooo, has everyone calmed down some? Admittedly, I was so pissed after last Saturday and for days after. I stayed off of here except for the occasional read through out the days and went to something else. This is a different type of year for us. It’s Florida week and it’s later than what we are used to and what we’ve been clamoring for. I’m over the loss last week and want to talk about Florida. Can we do that?? It’s here and that’s what makes the Florida rivalry great.

This is the only Forum on VN, apparently, that supports the Big 3 whole-heartedly and NEVER goes snide on another one of our programs to brownnose.

You have a sincerely weird obsession with me. The entire forum was upset in the aftermath of the horrific loss to Arkansas. Hell, MetalVol was in the Game Thread eviscerating our coaching staff for the performance as well as some other reputable posters, but I’m apparently “TheDookieMonster” because I made a tongue in cheek (obviously not serious) remark about moving the football team to the parking lot until they play better.

I’ve watched a lot of breakdowns on the Arkansas game from an offensive stand point, and no exaggeration, 4-5 TDs were left off the board by either the oline getting blown up or Nico missing a guy. The play calling wasn’t as bad as it seemed live, things were there at times, execution wasn’t. Play calling still needs to evolve and adapt to the weaknesses of the oline though. The second thing Nico will see on film and learn from, I 100% believe that. The oline though? I’m skeptical they fix it, but if they do and it was just a bad one off game, we will be alright. We shall see.

From the time threw my first baseball, tonlittle league, to HS ball. Basketball, baseball, rec league/church league - its hustle.

Always give 100%. Or play left out.
