Thought the same. Both got embarrassed off the snap, but Campbell didn't give up and recovered. Heard was a statue.

Was barely even a shimmy. Both should be ashamed of that, just pitiful. Maybe they both thought the other had the outside? Heard slid inside to protect an inside move because he believed K was covering outside?

I’ve outlined my views in the past that we have a real problem at offense line. I thought it was that Elarbee’s recruiting was a disaster and development was not good at all but last night coaching was horrible too.

I’m sorry if other people don’t see the issue.

Then people need to realize that the wide screens and short passes will continue if the line can’t sustain long blocks.

Short passes and screen plays are a major part of Heup’s offense. Always has always will

Edit: This is correct. He’s scored 40+ points against 14 P5 teams.

Please don’t think I’m bashing CJH or Nico. I am not at all. Just saying we do pray on less talented teams to skew numbers.
In the last 2 years we have scored 20 or less 6 times.
In the last 2 years we have scored 40 or more points 7 times on fbs schools. 4 of those are utsa, Virginia, Kent state and vandy

Overall the defense played well and when we didn't it was schematic not personnel. The problem was the offensive line, end of story. Hopefully we get that fixed. On to FU, WGWTFA.

Swait gave NICO a free pass in this piece blaming pass protection. For me, it's both. There were open receivers and he just didn't find them. And, you can make up for some O-line issues with scrambling and passing.

It was almost entirely on the poor play of the o-line. That can not continue. Nico didn't change in two weeks. I don't care how nice your house is if the foundation fails you're done.
