On the last play, that was an excellent disguise of coverage by Arkansas. Watch the linebacker, Nico looked at Sampson and the linebacker was feigning coverage and came back to the middle. Yeah he was wide open at the end but that ship had passed. On almost every play there are going to receivers open at some point, it matters if they are open when the qb is on them in his progression. It is not like Madden.

The 30 yds down the line of scrimmage to the WR who’s pinned between the sideline and another WR and his defender for a 2-3 yd gain is just plain stupid. Haven’t seen a whole lot of success in those, whether it be that play specifically or using that to set up another play.

Out coached by their OC and especially their DC.
More importantly, their players executed the game plan better than our players did.

In a game like this, a few breaks makes the difference. They capitalized and we didn’t.

Our team needs to understand the Maxims. For there is the winning edge.

In the last 2 years we have scored 40 or more points 7 times on fbs schools. 4 of those are utsa, Virginia, Kent state and vandy

The film is out and I hope he adapts. I believe CJH is the man for our Vols.

We’ve scored 40 or more on UK, Mizzou, South Carolina, Vandy, and LSU. We scored 38 on UF. Other than UGA, that’s who we’ve played every year.

We have in the past- Velus Jones took it 70 yards on the first play of the UK game in 2021. Puts playmakers in space. Bru has had some good chunk plays too.

If look at that play from the qb's perspective when he was looking at DS that LB could have easily jumped that route for a pick six.

You are correct. Non of them teams were any good on defense. Lsu fired their entire defensive staff after that year.
But I rest my case. I hope as a team they can show something other than inside zone across QB face. The passes are there if Nico has time and trust himself. Go Vols

Kentucky finished the season giving up 19.2 ppg (11th in country)…
Bama finished 18 and some change ppg (9th). We put up almost 100 between those 2 games.

LSU 22.5 (34th), Missouri 25.2 (56th)

At least bring facts brother

You probably thought that Banks and Martinez should have been fired too. You realize that Elarbee didn't play a snap and that he doesn't all of a sudden suck, I think we had a good o-line in 2022.
My Daddy always said you can think it but don't put it in writing or you'll be having crow for supper. Don't do this to yourself, it was one game or look for a good hiding spot.

Our DL needs to throw hands to the gut every single time they get held. After a few plays and some serious body blows, the opposing OL won’t want to hold. Called or not. Knee to groin is also effective. Nut punch too. Play mean but clean. Refs can’t call unsportsmanlike conduct and not call the holding penalty. They won’t see the up-close pain…😡😈😡😈

No hands to the face or anything like that.
