Rucker (no surprise) took imbecile glee in inserting Spurrier into the week. But what Spurrier said was that if Arky can beat Tenn, then Florida can.

Spurrier's take is just about the most moderate and least antagonizing thing I've read here in days.

could be blind optimism, but right now feel like we beat UF by 4+ scores and get Billy fired. I think we match up well against if our coaches use the correct formations (aka 12 personnel). Gators can’t stop a competent run game, if Gators line up in the same defense Arkansas played, we should rush for 300+ yards on them

My honest opinion is he wanted this to be the “Nico game” and wanted him to have a huge day and get some momentum going. Didn’t expect the OTs to play so poorly and when they did didn’t adjust the game plan well enough. It’s pretty inexcusable we didn’t see much if any two TE sets, it worked well against NC State. No idea why we didn’t try it against Arkansas

Milton wobbled earlier, and it threw the track 30 miles south of T-Bay..as these storms near the west coast of Florida they almost always wobble to the right of center circulation as they get nearer to the coast...they almost never do the opposite.

Every few miles to the south this thing tracks, the better, as it makes the likelihood of a huge storm surge being pushed up into T-Bay at high tide.

I know that sounds mean, but the difference is between badly effecting millions of lives and hundreds of thousands.

The farther this thing tracks south, the winds on the north side of the eye will actually be blowing west. The nightmare scenario for T-Bay has always been a strong hurricane going directly across Pinellas County and the winds pushing a 10-20 wall of water directly into the bay for several hour.

I listened to Swain running his mouth today, bad mistake...probably just like logging back in on here...I wonder if he was so quick to dog out his own teams and coaches.

Who is he to be so critical?

We are what I said we were in pre-season...a really good team with flaws and weak spots that could go anywhere from 8-11 wins.

I hate the Idiot Margin, and they are running wild and free on VN, louder, dumber and more obnoxious than ever, so I'm gonna leave again, but before I do..

I want to ask my many respected friends on VN to please pray for my daughter and son-in-law, she can not leave Clearwater due to her job as head of nursing staff at a rehab facility that is also a county Hurricane shelter...what sucks is she is due to leave Thursday on a 10 day vacation, but that will be after the storm, and if the long talked about, deeply dreaded nightmare scenario happens to T-Bay, it could be too late.

My nerves are shot....football doesn't mean that much to me right now.

Some of us are about to get smacked with this hurricane here in Florida. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. I have too much to move here in Ft Myers so the family and I are buttoned up tight, we are going to try and ride this one out like we did Ian.
Fingers crossed all is well.

I pray this thing goes between FT. Myers and T-Bay and weakens tremendously as it nears the coast. It's gonna suck and the power is going down, but hopefully the worst doesn't happen.

The best scenario is this thing wobbling to the south of Ft Myers and going south of the sound.
