Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Insurance is already ridiculous. It will only go higher. I think your scenario is very plausible.
How bad is insurance on empty lot with water/septic hookup.

I don't want to prey on misfortune, but I could see the wife and I owning a spot to pull a camper to and live near the beach whenever we want. (telework has some amazing advantages.)

Lots of people can't afford the insurance.....and are just "risking it."

Also......
There is so much piled up debris from the last Hurricane that hasn't been picked up..............just gonna blow away and cause more damage.
I was just in Fort Myers Beach, and to think they are going to go through the same thing as Ian (2022)...............so sad.

Prayers for everyone down there...............
Definite prayers for everyone. This is so scary.

I’ve seen a couple replays from last night where Heard didn’t even get a fingertip on a rusher. Looked like he was wearing cement cleats
Whoever gave him a NIL deal better amend it to include production quotas. Whiff on a block, get less. Pancakes get more. Holding, movement or illegal downfield gets less…

Pay for play should really mean no plays no pays. 😡

I think once they sign up for financial aid or sign scholarship papers, it will be recognized like a NLI.
The NCAA is desperately trying to cling to power. NLI was dead already. Players will be more like professionals now, signing binding contracts with colectives, business and schools.
Twenty years ago the players were in the total control of the NCAA and the schools. Now the pendulum has swung to the total opposite, the players are in complete control and have more than free agency which is not sustainable.
In any transaction all parties interests need to be protected.

I'm not sure you would need insurance in that scenario. Problem is, most have restrictions preventing RVs. I've considered that myself when I had my motorhome.

My uncle owns a home in the Bahamas. Insurance is so high he doesnt even carry it. He's had several hurricanes come through and a couple have camped out on the island. He had relatively minor damage. Of course minor damage on an out island in the Bahamas isn't an inexpensive endeavor. Its still was much less than any insurance premiums.

He looked like a guy that could barely move...... If it is an ankle and this staff put him out there they shouldn't have in that condition.

Either the staff let him play when he probably shouldn't or he's sandbagging. Either way, he probably shouldn't have been out there.

Yeah... drove down to Orlando Sunday, Monday we did a full day at Magic Kingdom, Woke up yesterday and evacuated...was on the road at 7am, got home after midnight.

I can't imagine how bad the evacuation traffic is today.
Yep..........
26 hours from Fort Myers to Franklin, TN.........

If someone is trying to get out today?????? Geez, I might just stay.

Glad you made it back safely! Anyone down there, be safe as well. And please try to show others some compassion and patience, everyone handles stress and anxiety differently.

So many careless drivers acting like absolute fools. Took a bad situation and made it even worse for themselves getting into accidents.
