Recruiting Football Talk VIII

My wife’s “Christmas Era” begins earlier and earlier every year. 🎄

I was the one who had to buy the pumpkins this year. She sent me a craft idea of putting the tree up and covering in a sheet with eye holes like a ghost 👻.

She even talked herself out of buying mums. MUMS!!!
I feel your pain. I love the Lord but I hate Christmas. My wife is the Queen of Christmas and it gets worser every year. We have an entire shed and a huge storage space just for decorations. She (I really mean me) put up three trees. She collects Santas and they are all over the house. And then there is the outside. And then people I would rather not ever see come over and I have to feed them. I hate Christmas.

That all depends.."facts" are twisted, it is often hard to find the real objective "facts", they are usually buried under tons of 🦬💩 by the gatekeepers of information.

As @rikberry31 or somebody else was saying...you can measure actually Calls, but how do you measure No-Calls? You know they happen, but they obfuscate the truth by feigning innocence...it is feeaking impossible that Alabama or Arky committed no live ball fouls, so the obvious truth is...they purposefully did not call offensive or defensive holding, or pass interference, I am not sure of the why this keeps happening to US, but I know it does, and you can not make believe that in a 5 point game that it wasn't a big difference.

In other words...you don't have to see the wind, to know it is blowing.
@Ulysees E. McGill is on fire today.

And we played Florida the same week a massive hurricane hit them as well (though don’t know how much of a coincidence that is when you play them during Hurricane season)
Florida’s flight back after the game was apparently incredibly rough and somebody on the plane joked the headline was going to read “Gators Get Killed Twice”

I didn't know that........

look at this.........

National Lampoon’s Animal House (1978)

The role: “Boone” Schoenstein

Who got it: Peter Riegert

The original plan was to cast Chevy Chase as Otter, Bill Murray as Boon, Dan Aykroyd as D-Day, and of course, John Belushi as Bluto. Chevy Chase was interested but chose to make Foul Play instead. Scheduling conflicts with SNL allowed for only Belushi to accept his part. Lorne Michaels didn’t want three of his most popular cast members spending half the week in Hollywood filming Animal House instead of prepping for the show.
Unrelated but would you be interested to know that originally, Mel Gibson was set to play the role of John McClane in Die Hard... And Bruce Willis was set to play the role of Martin Riggs in Lethal Weapon.

Most of their fans on their board think we're going to beat them like a drum lol....I think we win and think Heupel calls a more aggressive gameplan. I still don't think we blow them out because no matter how much better we are as a team, we've rarely blown them out.

I don’t think this is unusual, especially in the SEC.

Since 2021 before this year, Ole Miss has 8 losses, and 6 were on the road. A&M has 16 losses with 10 on the road. Mizzou has 14 losses with 9 on the road. I didn’t look at others.
Our percentage is higher than all theirs, but you're right it would be expected.

Clearly, being that it is Florida and after last week's result, I'm not predicting a blow out. But man, I'm really hoping.

6 our of our 7losses on the road. That's nuts.
Winning on the road in the SEC is difficult, even Vandy now apparently. This is one thing most people from teams in other conferences(Texas,OU) neglect to consider when someone says the SEC is the by far the toughest conference. TU will find out.
