Yep...just because I don't always understand the "why", doesn't mean it isn't happening.Do you remember that NBA ref that was caught shaving points for the Mafia awhile back? That stuff has been happen since the Christians played the Lions in the Colosseum. I have kin in the business so I know how it works (that's why I never gamble), I am fluent in Statistics, and I have a pretty good eye for stuff that is not on the up and up.
The stakes have never been higher, we live in the Golden Age of gambling and the money is huge.
Add to that the astronomical amount of money in TV and you have many powerful people who have high interest in the outcome of games. I am not a conspiracy theorist, I trust my eyes and the numbers. A lot of things in today's football does not fit normal distribution.
Every proceeds to Normal, Entropy, and Equilibrium unless acted on by an outside force.
"We spared no expense"...lolIncorrect.

The correct reply was 'Parmesan encrusted Chilean Sea Bass, over a bed of lemon and cheese rissoto.'
One of my all time favorite quotes ( I wanted it as my senior quote in the yearbook, sadly it was frowned on by admin.) is by Stonewall Jackson at Fredericksburg. While surveying the devastation of Fredericksburg an officer under his command asked, "General, what should we do about all this?" Stonewall answered, "Kill Em, Kill Em All." He added, " I do not wish them to be brave in the Devil's service."My hometown. And I didn't know this, thanks for sharing.
I don't believe I will hear a higher truth this day. WGWTFA. On this day, you good sir are genius and a rockstar. The scum that do this crap have figured out a fundamental truth of human beings....a huge amount of people subconsciously WANT to be lied to...they want and need for the illusion to be maintained because their minds simply can not handle the REAL truth.
It is saddening and infuriating...but the older I get, the more of this I see..the more it gets confirmed to me.
It blows my mind that people are purposefully ignorant and gullible. And they hate you, and mock you for it.
The Emperor has no clothes....our world has truly become that fable.
So you came to your conclusion that the 2022 oline was worst than this 2024 oline bc of the bold right? Primarily the facing pressure %, assuming this is accurate (not saying you're lying, moreso saying I'm not going to fact check it).Nico has been sacked 7.6% of drop backs (or 9 in 5 games 1.8 per game), he has 2.2 seconds in the pocket and facing pressure on 13.6% of drop backs. Hooker faced pressure on 16.1%, 2.02 seconds, and sacked 7.6% of drop backs (or 25 times in less than 11 games 2.27 per game)
Milton had 2.5 seconds, sacked 4.8% of drop backs (17 in 12 games 1.4 per game) but did face pressure 21% of the time(cuz he held the ball much longer)
Hooker was similar to dobbs and saved the offensive line a lot
I haven't watched them consistently since the original cast. These days, I don't watch them at all.October 11, 1975
"Saturday Night Live" debuts. George Carlin was the guest host!
It's not great now.........but used to be "must watch TV"

Long story short, fact checking is not your enemy? The scum that do this crap have figured out a fundamental truth of human beings....a huge amount of people subconsciously WANT to be lied to...they want and need for the illusion to be maintained because their minds simply can not handle the REAL truth.

I agree with one exception. Stating the very simple statistics on games can be misleading. However, a comprehensive statistical analysis with an adequate sample size, rightly interpreted often tells the true story (within a 95% confidence interval, sorry math nerd joke) Many things, in terms of the officiatiing of Tennessee ball games, cause me to reject the null hypothesis. One being the officials are applying the same standard to both teams and another that the officiating is no having effects on those ball games. When someone has a hand with four aces three times in a game it's possible but highly unlikely. If he does it every week...Jack, first I apologize for being rude yesterday.
I have always contended that the "backstory" is not the issue. Everything is in plain view right on the surface. I mean the calls and no-calls that are literally on video. That is the story and the evidence that needs to be treated. Statistics dodge the primary evidence -- that is, what comes to sight. And there is the obvious problem with the statistics that it is not necessarily the case that in a justly officiated game each team will have the identical number of penalties and penalty yardage. One team may commit more fouls. And more decisive fouls. Statistics seem neutral because they are numbers. That doesn't make them objective in the adequate sense. And they are easy: someone has counted them up for us (the number of calls). But not the no-calls. And the totals ignore context. Some no-calls can dramatically change a game and go unrecorded.
It's interesting to imagine what a discussion about what to watch for would include and not include and how the agenda was determined and by whom. We know Heup called attention all year to us being held, but from the looks of things it never became a trend to look out for.
I'll withhold my pick until I see how Tennessee responds against Florida. I hope Tennessee comes out with their hair on fire because: 1) Pissed off about Arky game, and 2) Revenge for last year. I'm also hoping to see less conservative play calling by Heupel.
He called the sh!t "poop"undergoing name change because it’s 2024 and you can be whoever you want to be. Also finally realized there’s another vol in ga. I will hereby go by Adam Sandler and will rotate my favorite images from his various movies for my avi.
I would have gone with Scuba Steve but apparently that was taken. And couldn’t decide between Sonny Koufax, Billy Madison, happy Gilmore, and Bobby Boucher.
