To be fair, Hooker was in his 5th year of college when he came to UT.

2017 he used his Redshirt
2018 he played in 3 games with 0 starts
2019 he played in 10 and started 9
2020 he played in 8 and started 7

And that much time in college is a huge help especially since it was in the ACC.

My ONLY complaint a bit with Heupel in his time here was that I felt like he should have started Hooker from the beginning. Will probably never know the real reason it took Joe getting hurt before we got Hooker starting. But Heupel showed he was smart enough to realize the mistake, cause once we saw what Hendo could do he didn't yo-yo between him and Joe like Lyle did with Dobbs for so long.

Still blows my mind that Butch saw what Dobbs had in 2013 and went back to Worley again in 2014. Dobbs would have easily won us the Florida game that year.

You take those cheap plastic trick or treat pumpkins, drill a hole in the bottom and run the solar light inside of it. We already had the lights and those pumpkins were $2 each. They turned out pretty good and look great lit up. AND THEY WERE CHEAP! (I think she got the idea from Instagram)




*This is what we had lining the sidewalk. The solar caps fit perfectly on those pumpkins.

Yep, dude wasn't really getting 1st team reps at all in 2013 either. But by his 5th game throws for 199, 2 TDs and rushes for 52 with another TD to beat Kentucky.

2014 though, back on the bench...crazy, hell if Dobbs starts all of 2014 legit shot we would have beaten Florida and Georgia that year.

I am not “in” or “out” after one game.

Nico’s first year starting, 8 wins and anything more is icing IMO. I know we all thought playoffs or bust based on how the defense looks. But until the offense is operating at a better level it’s asking too much for the defense to be stopping SEC offenses for 30+ minutes.

If we hold a team to 19pts, we should win 90% of the time. Offense needs to step it up.
