Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Pate has already brought it out. You just can’t put your head in the sand every week though. It has to be discussed.

Josh Pate is the voice of reason and change in the sport. He’s the only member of the media that’s a fan like the rest of us and wants what’s best for the sport.

He’s an ally to all fans.

Do you not find it strange that none of our SEC opponents in three games this year have not had one single hold called?
Like I said, combined with last year, it’s pretty much impossible for it to happen by chance.

I don’t want to speculate on the “why,” because I honestly don’t know, but the “what” is indisputably happening. It’s there in the numbers.

Not just a hold call. Zero live ball fouls on offense or defense
There was a blindside block call on a kickoff tonight called against UF. But I’m struggling to remember any live ball penalties on our opponents offense or defense this year. There may be one or two, maybe. But I do know holding on our DL has been nonexistent this year which is crazy when we our OL gets called for it multiple times a game. It certainly hasn’t been equitable or consistent in the least. It’s puzzling.

No teams in conference games are called fair. So now we've switched the narrative. Earlier it was the blame game on Nico and CJH, happy we went full circle back to old reliable.

The Officiating will never change , beat that horse all you guys want.
So you ain't got nothing.

Anyone else want to try to explain why there's not been a holding call on our opponents in SEC play?
