Very little about Tennessee v Florida has made me feel even a little good in my life. I'm not worrying myself holding out for feeling really good. Any good will do.

Our current starting WRs could be something special. But they aren’t. No idea if it’s coaching, OL not giving Nico time, play calling, or something else. But you’d think they would be at least very good this year.

The hits Nico took against Oklahoma and Arkansas have him panicking a little in the pocket and things are moving too fast for him. He's playing like he has less than two seconds to get rid of the ball or scramble. Sometimes that's still true, but there are a lot of times where he could stay in the pocket and there's an open guy right in the middle of the field. He just needs to calm down and quit hearing the footsteps. Heupel changed up his playcalling late to help Nico and it seemed to make a difference. They've got to get him comfortable again. If they can do that, then this team takes a huge step forward.

Squirrel had plenty of separation on the long pass play. I mean, I’m not sure what else you want. Nico missed him by a foot.

Squirrel was also held on that play. One tug makes all the difference when its that close.

One thing Nico did well to start the season was he would step up in the pocket to allow more time to find an open receiver, the last two weeks he just runs out of it.

He wants to make those Hooker plays happen, and that’s very apparent. I wonder if opening the playbook the last couple weeks has got him out of whack/comfort zone.

When I was a teenager in a small town in GA, my cousin was a year older than me. He was a decent guy, but was a pretty loud mouth, cocky guy. I think that got him on the wrong side of the local sherrif that just didn't like him, so he made extra effort to make my cousin's life hard.

Finally, he gave my cousin a ticket for speeding when he wasn't speeding. My cousin took it to court and actually made the sheriff look like a liar idiot in front of the judge. My cousin got off.

You'd think the harassment would have stopped, but there isn't logic with some small-town sheriffs. There's a certain ego and feeling of empowerment.

After that, he harassed the hell out of my cousin. It wasn't even subtle. Lasted for years.



That's what's going on with UT. NCAA felt like we didn't suffer enough for Pruitt. They tried to make us pay and we made them look like lying idiots to the 'judge' and through the media. So now they want us to unofficially pay for Pruitt as well as NIL lawsuit.

On these penalty issues, UT needs to pull together the statistical argument as well as video footage of what's not being called. Send them to the Tennessee AG, cc-ing the NCAA and several of the biggest media outlets. That's such a huge story (a major NCAA state university pressing unfair treatment to their state AG), the media would have to cover it. Not to mention, the state AG has already shown a willingness to go after the NCAA.

If the TN AG pressed it legally, that gives us discovery. No telling what shows up if communications have to be provided and people have to go under oath. I'd say the NCAA wouldn't want that.

The only thing you can do with the NCAA, when they think they are the highest power in the land, is show them the higher power.

You can sense Heupel is frustrated with the offense and lack of production. He’s from the Mike Leach coaching/player tree. I would like to see some dink and dunk added to the offense like Leach would in the passing game. It doesn’t have to be “f it, let’s chuck it” all the time.

That’s his offense. You throw the short pass out wide when you have numbers. You run deep when it’s man with no safety help. We saw some more intermediate plays last night that were missed

Especially in the open field. Eason sneaky won us the game last night by reading that screen and making the open field hit for a big loss to start OT. They never recovered and got back within chip shot range.

Poor execution isn't the same as being figured out. He has adjusted offense. It was apparent last night. Execution still isn't up to par.

We started scoreless and trailing in the second half. Those are conditions he's nearly winless at. This was also against an opponent we always find ways to lose to, but we didn't. We won.

Dude I'm not on a witch hunt you guys can complain about it til your blue in the face. It's a losing battle. If you believe it's a conspiracy than that's your opinion, doesn't mean I have to tag along with it.

Do you believe there is unfair disparate treatment? Whether you believe it's some grassy knoll conspiracy or not isn't really the issue. It could be flat out bias. But it's apparent that we're getting cheated whatever the underlying reason may be.

Half his sideline throws the receivers can’t stay in and make a catch and if they do it’s by a toe,
Overthrowing on the deep ball by 6-12 inches most of the time,
In the middle of the field, a little high or low or behind.

He definitely learned well from joes tutoring.
Hopefully he can unlearn it.
