We did have some good series, but we tended to run up the middle on 1st and 2nd, find ourselves with 3rd and long, and then didn't do much.

Where were the shuttle passes, slants, etc we had in the first few games? FL was mixing up the offense and we were very predictable. We have the weapons to continue to mix it up. Guess our Oline play caused us to go so conservative, that with Nico not being able to hardly complete a pass.

Right on. A few times we started deep in our own territory and could tell Heupel didn’t want to risk a turnover. Florida did risk it in their own territory and it cost them. Looked to me it’s a combination of things. The middle screen to Ethan Davis was set up perfectly but Squirrel missed the block, Davis would’ve run for days. So, I believe Heupel when he says they aren’t that far off. Just hope it happens this weekend. The defense is legit.

I had a few talk to the Tv moments last night. This was one of them. He did much better as the night went on. This is exactly the stuff we do year in and year out against Florida. We won. We are doing substantially better than the past 15 years. Down years being 9 wins is way better than down years being we win 5-6. This offense is in a funk. It’s also possible Florida and Arkansas just matched up well.

Maybe it is better if THOSE guys do leave if the quantity of call outs frustrates them. I have only seen that with overly prolific arrogant and condescending posters who repackage their crap A WHOLE BUNCH.

Couple of meaningless tidbits to share:
Go to church with mostly Alabama fans. They are not very optimistic about this weekend and are generally fed up with DeBoer. Kind of reminds me of how the Auburn folks viewed Harsin. Worst Defense in years and scheme that self-exposes their most inexperienced players.

Friends and Relatives who are UGA fans. How DARE anyone question Kirby Smart's actions on the sideline. Media has been on a witch hunt and are to blame for Kolbie Young and other distractions.

Vols have things to work on, obviously. But UT is good enough, especially on Defense to capitalize on other teams shortcomings. I choose to believe these players and this staff will make necessary adjustments and give the fans a fun ride the rest of the way.

Have you watched them? They almost lost to usc at home and did lose to Vandy. You're just focusing on our deficiencies without comparing them to their deficiencies.

And neyland is going to be rocking. Bama is very beatable. I don't know that anyone is calling that game a win, but the defeatist attitude is definitely not warranted.

Bama fans certainly aren't very confident.
