Feel like our offense was in a groove on the first drive (fumble) & third drive (3 straight sacks) prior to those instances...I saw some resemblance to the 2022 offense before the critical mistakes killed the drives

Those 3 sacks were 1) Lampley & Bishop missed blocks, 2) Heard missed block, 3) I think everybody missed their blocks...

I wish one of those 3 sack plays were called for a rush or at least a HB draw on that 3rd & 25

I wonder how often other teams are blitzing

I'm excited to see what we have on offense next week. I think Heupel knows he can't go fully conservative and win this game so we will finally see some stuff.

I just realized that we will not stand a chance against Bama. If we thought the refereeing was egregious so far, wait until Saturday when Bama cannot lose another game right now, as that would put them on the cusp of being out of the playoffs, especially with who they have left on the schedule.

This really can’t be understated, and it is real. Bama will probably be a loss. They are hard enough to beat as-is, but we aren’t there yet to beat them AND the officials. I think we are miles better than UF and the officiating absolutely killed our momentum at key points and we had to go to overtime to squeak the win.

Just be ready for massive frustration this Saturday.

Yes, full frame the ball is released as he turns upfield. Nimrod owned it after the play too. Either way, Nimrod shows a lot of promise and he and Nico have a whole week to get on the same page.

How we feeling about next week?

Honestly, better than anytime since halftime of the OU game.

After coaching hesitant for almost 10 quarters, we didn't squeak through overtime when conventional wisdom said to position for a FG try. The team straight up bent Florida over in OT. That is how this team has to play.

Thankfully the idiot SID's and AP voters did their part by dropping us, but not AL, after equivalently unimpressive performances.

I don't know if we'll win, but I think the way that game ended will have a decidedly positive impact on the team vs kneeling to a FG.

Say what you want but Tennessee has beat Oklahoma and Florida in the same year. I don’t care how bad they are. We have fielded better teams against Florida and lost.

Our defense is something special. We may not see another like it for a good while.
