Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Watching LSU QB last night. Dude was throwing before WR made his break.

Let me preface, I'm happy with where we are at QB. LSU QB is streaky. But that throw is one Nico was making earlier in the year.

What happened?

This is what I'm seeing...he wants to see the guy completely open before pulling the trigger. Hopefully just some growing pains and after a little regression our offense actually gets to an even higher rung in the coming weeks.

Also, I woke up smiling this morning and am going to bed smiling. Suck it gatas.

I have lived through some of the most excruciating losses to Florida….Gaffney no catch, Tebow/Leak 21-20, Muschamp 10-9, Franks Hail Mary, Grier 4th and 14……

I will never and I repeat never be upset after a win over Florida. They always play their best game like a bunch of Heisman hopefuls against us and we tend to play our worst or make the dumbest mistakes.

Rewatching the game now. I think the fumble on the first drive affected Nico. He looked pretty solid up to that point. He’s got to snap and clear when mistakes happen. Some of the throws in the 3rd quarter were so close and the deep bomb in the fourth.

I don’t think Alabama is that good. Our defense should keep us in it. Anything can happen.

My opinion on Nico is he’s such a young player in his development due to not a lot of 11 on 11 starts under his belt in HS. But even with his struggles he still delivers big time NFL throws in the mist of it(that throw across the middle to Brazzel and that sideline rope to Squirrel in the 4th). Coach Heup/Hazle is about to either earn that title of elite QB developer or we will find out if it’s just his system. I think GM will come in a little more polished than Nico did, and Brandon will be a little rawer like Nico. So they have their work cut out for them, but the reward at the end has great potential. Would’ve been nice to put away opponents last year and let Nico grow up some with reps. But unfortunately we couldn’t for whatever reason and now here we are. He’s learning on the job. That cool laid back persona I guess went out the window when those country fed d-linemen in the south started hitting him in the mouth. I have faith he’ll adjust though and not get so anxious. We all know he has elite downfield accuracy and seen him complete those before. He’s letting the pressure bother him, he has to get it together.

He’s good but Deion is force feeding him and now he’s hurt again. Priority #1 for Colorado is to garner as much attention for Travis and his (favorite) son. Winning is second.

Yeah it’s pretty obvious this year who should win.

You just have to ask yourself which player of the 3 would play the best in tougher conferences.

Put the kid behind one of the top olines in the country and I don’t think there’s any difference.

I think Hunter would transition pretty easy and ball out, but I don’t think he would be playing both ways.

Don’t even care about Sanders, offensive is tailored made for him. Would probably be the equivalent of Jacolby Criswell at UNC

Daily bettors, my 2nd $10 is now up to $50. The first several bets I was throwing -500 bets around like candy. The last one was $43, and I agonized forever about it. I can only imagine how reluctant I'll be if I ever get up to triple digits.

I need you all to feed me some good ones so I can avoid blaming myself and actually make a decision on this next one. Otherwise it'll be a week before I can pull the trigger.

There isn’t really good bet to make, even at -500.

I was on a 5 day streak and the Vols ruined that. Just pick whatever you gut says.

Soccer is usually pretty free though. KBO is pretty easy, since most of the favorites win (from my experience)

Ya the Vols wrecked my first streak. Never betting on them again, ever.

I’m taking Sweden -500 over Estonia tomorrow 2:45pm

Big Glenn will need to get the OL somewhat functional this week. Can not have another scoreless half. All it takes is for one play and bammer has a 55 yard TD or something ridiculous. OL needs to get it together
