I still say oline plus Nico is what is holding recievers back.

Thornton has one catch in each of the last two games. I think he’s the closest thing we got to a game changer. Unacceptable. Doesn’t seem like he was even targeted that much but honestly not sure I’ve watched the entire game yet.

Vq thinks Mattews issue is not knowing the full playback. They mentioned he's likely getting snaps for plays he knows.

By my estimation he had maybe a slightly below average day. Not near as bad as some are acting.

The fumble. I think he scores if he can keep it. Totally different ball game. Missed the two deep balls, not sure if the one to Nimrod was his fault. The other two were close. The slant to Nimrod needed more touch. Didn't need to rifle that in there. The INT was bad.

Plenty of nice plays. I really it's just a matter of time before he gets rolling. Just needs to get in a rhythm and everyone else step their game up a little.

IMO nico threw 3 bad balls.

The 1st deep ball to Nimrod
The INT.
The overthrow around the goalie line.

The rest were very catchable balls.

Nico is on par with Milton right now. Stats might not back that up because his receivers aren't helping him.

The biggest problem with the offense is the inconsistency on the o line. The constant pressure has Nico a little jittery in the pocket and it's making him uncomfortable

What’s up with Cam Seldon? He still hurt?

I was wondering about Seldon also. Think they may try to Redshirt him unless RB1 or RB2 get hurt. Seldon has only played in 3 games so far this year. He was the KO return guy also but they moved Mile Matthews into that spot vs Florida.

I was at the game and at times Nico looks no more catchable than Joe. I am 0% surprised now why Joe started last year. Nico has missed wide open guys too. A lot of things are clearer at this point in the season. We were likely an 8-4 team minus our Defense. If Milton played we maybe beat AR. The oline has done Nico 0 favors, but Nico had minimal pressure on all those missed deep shots.

I think that last line is it...a little bit better passes and each one of those WRs has an extra TD or more

An extra half-second of the pocket staying clean would make a world of difference in the passing game (bad throws/drops/INTs/etc.)

Hell even LSU is losing every starter at the WR position.
