Maybe a little bit of that is just him trying to keep Nico's head high. I took it as Chaz saying he could've adjusted and made the catch.

When players are wide open it may not be the play caller either. I also would not blame a sophomore more like RS freshman QB with happy feet and wide eyes either.

I would blame 2 tackles and an OL coach though.

I'll admit that I do think the WRs have dropped some passes that were catchable. But the frequency that they're put in position to make those exceptional catches is too high. I find it hard to blame them for not making a majority of their catches like that...

Before answering, think about how much longer these two are on the field compared to past teams.

Easily. Closest is Sutton and Moseley. And Moseley was better in the NFL than college.

Gibson and McCoy are both elite college corners who will be starters in the NFL. Both could also be Pro Bowl caliber in the NFL. They're insanely talented.

Could it be on both the QB and the WRs? Seems more likely than trying to scapegoat just one. Besides, I still think the OL is behind the majority of our problems. Especially the tackles.

We do have some film on several. Squirrel moves the chains now. No longer a deep threat. Bru just lacks WR ability. Thornton makes plays but is MIA for most of the game.

If im comparing new guys Brazell and Nimrod… clearly Nimrod is less than Brazell. Why is he getting targets?

They don’t look bad, they just don’t show up… if that makes sense.

I have a high standard for wide receivers at Tennessee.

I don't remember him looking toward the sideline. I think he was looking back at Nico.

I don't know what the correct throw was, clearly others here know more than me. But again, it looked like he was owning it.

It was a bad throw.

Nimrod may not have been perfect. But he was wide open - and the ball landed out of bounds.

That said, I do agree it’s not all on them, Nico should be making these guys better. He’s not. He had decent enough pockets to make better decisions and throws. He’s still so green.

Nico missed 2 long TD passes and a 3rd down pass to squirrel, Nimrod had 3 passes off his fingers, if those plays went our way we’d have beaten them by 3 scores and nico is sec player of the week

And, respectfully it shows. This is not me pooping on Nico, but after watching a game live and a couple of stinkers at home I have reset my expectations for him. He's still the man, but he's got some growing to do.
