milton was a good qb, not great. his biggest problem was following HH. Milton tried to rely on his arm too much. Instead of using the whole playbook, or allowing play to develop and knowing where to go he tried to force the play. Too often a play would brrak down, then he's react. HH knew when to run, ans when not to run.

When wed run with Milton, it would work. But then we'd stall out. his throws were hard to catch, and either late or behind.

all the talent in the world. a gamer. but not the leader HH was. You can tell HH put in the work, but may have had more talent at WR. we weren't good there last year
About midway through the season you could tell Coach Heup lost faith in him and adjusted. Most our throws were those 6-8 yard hitches or WR screens, very little vertical or across the middle designs. Coach Heup showed more formations in the bowl game with a first time starter than he did all season with a 6th year guy.

I hope he’s working like heck to get back to where he was. But I’m in a hopeful, though wait and see holding pattern with Bru.
Physically he looks like a beast right now, looks every bit of the 230 he’s listed at. If the ankle holds he’s going to abuse a bunch of 20 year old kids this fall.

We used to get some players from georgia. still do, ones we DO get and got were legends

Can’t believe Dewey Warren is not on this list…

@LA Vol, we're in a new thread. Sure do wish you would make your return here. Hope all is well.
He sure took a beating from his last post, if I remember and uncalled for. @LA Vol, you’re missed and please don’t take your ball and go home. Sometimes the miserables drown out the level headed people here.
