I still believe they will regress as we continue to climb. Tennessee's long walk in the desert helped them a lot.

I could see it. Saban's defenses have a history of struggling with mobile qbs, even in their best years. Same as Johnny Football, Jose Football is mobile and unpredictable. Jordan Jefferson, Cam Newton, Nick Marshall, Johnny Football, and now Jose Football.

But those teams you mentioned were much more talented than Vandy. And Pavia is not in any of those QBs leagues when it comes to talent. Vandy would hang around a little but a Saban led Bama this year beats them by 17+. Also they wouldn’t have scored 40 on Bama either.

If you are a serious person in this industry and you aren’t aware of the ability our fan base has to be loud, you should find new work.

Just unbelievably noise the whole game. I could barely hear or talk for 3 days. You could scream to talk and still couldn't understand. How we lost that game was a joke. Bad coaching decisions and terrible pass interference to give them the go ahead TD.

One thing that made those years so special is the same thing that made '22 and this year resonate with fans so clearly: we had been essentially wandering in the wilderness from '72-'84 with a mixture of moderate success and mediocrity. Same thing now between '07 and '21. When a fan base gets used to having championship caliber teams and then has to suffer through those kinds of periods, it makes the resurrection that much sweeter. Hopefully Hype can create a stretch that doesn't include ('86, '88, '94 & '05).

The ‘72-‘84 stretch is what makes the ‘85 SugarVols so special. ‘86-‘88 set us in motion for the 1989-2005 run

As of October 24th I can't say that with any confidence.

I think Ollie will have to show out at the combine because of how bad OK State has been this year. Jeanty is most likely going to be the 1st RB taken if he's healthy.

Sampson will also need to stay healthy and have a good combine, but if he does that there's a very real shot the argument becomes him or Jeanty as the 1st RB taken.

That’s true. Then you have OSU’s RB duo, UNC’s RB. I’d still say anywhere from 3rd-6th RB taken. Lots of factors in play tho.
