Depends how closely we play UGA. If we get blown out, we won't get in. If we're close, I think we get in over Bama. Head to head matters.

We go in over Bama if we're both 10-2.

I am somewhat uneasy with us at 10-2, but not because of Bama. It's because so far Bama is our only decent win.

In my opinion, both teams in the SEC championship game get in and then the next two highest ranked SEC teams get in and if there is third SEC team that’s close to those two they will look at head to head. Get to Atlanta and you’re either guaranteed a bye or a home playoff game

Bama, lsu, ole miss, Missouri all with 2 losses.

Texas and Texas AM, Bama LSU, UT Georgia, Georgia Ole Miss all play.

Missouri is likely out at 10-2 given their schedule is trash. Bama/LSU will be out with 3 losses after they play each other. Ole miss likely loss to Georgia would put them out.

Leaves 1 loss teams of Georgia/Tennessee or AM/Texas. 2 loss teams of the loser of the aforementioned games along with winner of Bama/LSU. One team likely getting left out to put 4 sec teams in. All that said, a lot of football left to be played and it’s been a wild year so far so hopefully some upsets happen to the other teams we’re competing against to close the season.

Someone or more than one will be 10-2 and not make it in. The Bama bias is real but we beat them head to head so they can’t make it in, and I can’t see us beating Bama and vandy and not getting in over Bama at this point. The win over mizzou was without cook most of the game and the uga game looks like a fluke at this point. FWIW, I also don’t see them beating lsu in Death Valley so this might all be a moot point.

I believe 4 sec teams should make it. Only 3 is what’s projected. If the game against uga is not competitive, I’d feel uneasy. Very easily could see a Texas a&m/LSU getting a nod. We need to win out and at least be competitive in Athens.

Most pundits are projecting only 3 sec teams making it in. I don’t know how they view the big 10 more favorably but that’s what’s been out there the past week or two.

That A&M D line are dogs… they don’t need that chump Nolen. He’s only worried about how much money someone will give him. Ironically, he may have been better long term to stay at A&M
