Unfortunately Heisman voters only nut over volume. Henry had no better an average YPC and fewer TDs than Sampson will end with (many fewer in fact).

But Bama won it all and Henry got a bunch more carries each game. Those are the low IQ metrics used by voters for RB candidates.

Someone or more than one will be 10-2 and not make it in. The Bama bias is real but we beat them head to head so they can’t make it in, and I can’t see us beating Bama and vandy and not getting in over Bama at this point. The win over mizzou was without cook most of the game and the uga game looks like a fluke at this point. FWIW, I also don’t see them beating lsu in Death Valley so this might all be a moot point.

I believe 4 sec teams should make it. Only 3 is what’s projected. If the game against uga is not competitive, I’d feel uneasy. Very easily could see a Texas a&m/LSU getting a nod. We need to win out and at least be competitive in Athens.

The only team in CFP history to finish outside the top-11 at 10-2 out of the SEC...?

And yes they finished 13th. The worst ever finish for a 10-2 SEC team.

UK rush defense is falling apart and it looks like Miss St is starting give up. If puts up video game numbers in these games he will have a big stage vs UGA. If he puts up a similar stat line against UGA as Bama and we pull off the upset he will have 2 more games to put up video game numbers. His stats the last five games could easily double his first 7.

Come on man be realistic. Through 7 games Sampson has 838 rush yards and 17 TDs. “His stats the last 5 games could easily double his first 7.” WHAT???

So you are saying in 5 games Sampson could rush for 1676 yards?? I am not even gonna mention the TDs. There is no way you honestly think Sampson can rush for 335 yards per game.

Likely competing for 4-5 spots.

Texas am, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas all with 1 loss.

Bama, lsu, ole miss, Missouri all with 2 losses.

Texas and Texas AM, Bama LSU, UT Georgia, Georgia Ole Miss all play.

Missouri is likely out at 10-2 given their schedule is trash. Bama/LSU will be out with 3 losses after they play each other. Ole miss likely loss to Georgia would put them out.

Leaves 1 loss teams of Georgia/Tennessee or AM/Texas. 2 loss teams of the loser of the aforementioned games along with winner of Bama/LSU. One team likely getting left out to put 4 sec teams in. All that said, a lot of football left to be played and it’s been a wild year so far so hopefully some upsets happen to the other teams we’re competing against to close the season.

Would Texas get in with 0 quality wins, if they lose to A&M?
