Our D definitely lacked the level of intensity of a regular season game. I was surprised Gainey looked just so-so. This team still has to work its chemistry out though. Early season basketball let alone pre-season usually sucks but this game did not suck.

You always get lucky with a player like DK even if you identify and develop him. There's good, great, and then there's players like DK.

I know we have the whole season to get better, but I have a sinking feeling this is the type of team we’ll see all year. I hope I’m wrong.

And if we have to watch Chaz Lanier throw up 20 bricks a game, this fan base will be checked out by February.

There’s 0% chance Zeigler takes a seat that spurns a 7-0 run in any game that matters.

That‘s the literal difference in a game that didn’t matter. Definitely a lot to look at in the mirror, but it’s not the end of the world. We’ll know what kind of team we have after Thanksgiving.

Didn’t watch the game, but will watch a replay. Sounds like Chaz played a bit like Gainey early last season, but I’m sure he’ll adjust and settle in.

Just like our baseball team a couple of years ago when we lost to Grand Canyon (a natural wonder) in the first weekend, I think we’re done. Barnes has no clue what he’s doing….only been to 3 of 5 Sweet 16’s.

I don’t know if this is a top 25 team. Where is the offense coming from if Lanier shoots like that? Z will get his usual dozen, but I don’t see any reliable scorer. First game, but I don’t feel confident.
