Just dear god don't give the ACC and Big 12 a guaranteed top 4 spot. Complete and utter BS given the current inequities.

I'd also do away with all byes. Too much of an advantage when voting has to occur to choose who gets in. Which is why we need a rule-based playoff seeding system, like y'know, every single pro sport has figured out

You’re right, there are no damn rules for qualifying the playoffs other than winning your conf champ. They are going to position the bracket a certain way to draw the biggest views. Which makes the entire process frustrating. I also completely agree on teams receiving a bye. I think the only adv a conf champ should have is a home game in round 1.

The only problem with the BCS is that it doesn’t allow the wiggle room to setup matchups and storylines for television. The committee lends much more freedom to rig sh!t, which is nice.

@Enki_Amenra just found out that S-mart from the evil dead franchise is actually a grocery store chain in Mexico that started in 1975. I always thought it was something they just came up with.

Edit: also supposedly a convenience store in Detroit.

We got two football commits from Bama. Most of football commits happen in the spring and early summer. Not many spots for the current class are open in the fall and a lot of the JRs want to enjoy the process.
