FPI really values offense as a metric and our average has been dropping each week due to the early games being cupcakes.

Yup makes sense. We were bigger favorites and it was another struggly win. Close wins aren't great predictors.

But Nico improving is a good sign. Just put it together and stop making random H1 RZ turnovers and penalties, I think we can put it together, possibly.

We were only given a 30-35% chance to make the playoffs and were predicted to go 9-3. With a FR QB and nobody expected this defense.

We're now close to 70% to make the playoffs and odds to go 10-2+

We started #15 and are now #7 at worst. We are definitely overachieving.

Look I understand stats and that stupid model, aight. People are always citing it and the worthless FPI like it is Gospel when it could put to better use in the bathroom. To so rely on them them is foolish. Anybody with any football sense saw that Tennessee was a very dangerous team.

Not talking any particular model. Overall prediction consensus, Vegas, people that lay real money on their predictions.

9-3 was the general averaged consensus, thus why we were #15 preseason. And now we are #6 in the coaches poll. Nobody preseason had ~70% chance of making the playoffs except teams like UGA, OSU. And now here we are.

To think Heupel, Banks, and this team hasn't overachieved is wild. Yet you say we have UNDERACHIEVED. Were we predicted to be 8-0 at this point in the season??

Yep Bru and Donte got to be the go to guys. They’ve both played really well this season. Unfortunately it’s a huge drop off after them. Just way too many drops from the other receivers this season.

We’ve got to have a reliable third guy step up.

I bet those pilots love when they get cleared for the low level flyover.
Those jets were so cool. We were in downtown walking down Cumberland when they flew over. The echoes from the buildings made it seem like they were everywhere all at once.

As I was typing this post, one just took off from Mcgee Tyson. That was so cool and so LOUD!

What about that no call on the PI where, I think it was Bru, got trucked in front of 2 officials?

Watching the replay...the absolutely atrocious egregious Holding was obvious DURING the game...but on watching replay and actually focusing on the LOS and rewinding every play several times, it is purely disgusting what they let Kentucky get away with.

There have been multiple grab and takedowns on every Kentucky possession...this is no exaggeration...there 2-3 egregious holds happening on EVERY FREAKING PLAY!...

I don't understand why we are letting them get away with this...the SECorrupt officials are purposefully dulling our greatest strength.

This is not incompetence...this is on purpose, and I don't give a about the WHY...I just want it called out and stopped.

If it smells like watered down skunk, then it’s probably a water moccasin. They have a funky smell.

I wouldn't do that either. It's Vandy, but it's still a P5 SEC school. He gets them playing well and Vandy can pay more than a small school can.

My bet is he takes some calls and parlays it into a raise @ Vandy.
