Recruiting Football Talk VIII

I grew some of those a couple years ago. I didnt realize they were habeneros, I thought the were green peppers. I ate a green one and it was a little hot, then noticed others were starting to turn orange. Eventually they got extremely red. Turns out they were "red savina" habeneros. Hottest pepper I've ever had. . . (I think those are ghost peppers or reapers in that picture.)

Just watched Louisville vs Clemson highlights. Thank God Isaac Brown (freshman 3* RB) didn’t go to Florida. He’s the most talented freshman in the country and doesn’t get the Ryan Williams/ Jeremiah Smith publicity.

People want to get mad or say “lol” cause they have a family member on the board.

Kid got injured and fell behind. It’s no one’s fault, it’s tough that it happened that way, but at the end of the day it is what it is.

Wish the kid nothing but the best if he does leave. Same with Keith, some people just dont see the writing on the wall for some kids.
This is a sensible post. Not running the kid down and stating what you think to be true.

I made that mistake as a young parent, cooking for he kids while the wife was working evenings. Made some stir fry with the little bell pepper I'd bought. Kids were not forgiving.

UT - 55
Troy - 48

Tyler Bray threw for more yards than anyone who's ever worn a Tennessee uniform.

Turns out the Vols needed almost every single one to escape with a 55-48 victory over Troy on Homecoming in Neyland Stadium.

Bray set the record -- eclipsing Peyton Manning's career-high mark of 523 yards -- with a 24-yard completion to Justin Hunter on third down, one play before Marlin Lane’s 9-yard touchdown run gave the Vols the lead for good with 1:25 remaining.

Bray finished with 530 yards on 29-of-47 passing with five touchdowns. He did not throw an interception.

Is Miles now our starting TE? I don’t remember seeing Davis play last night.
Davis played some yesterday, we pretty much rotate between Kittlesman/Staes/Davis each drive, with miles and staes being in for 12 personnel setd

Nico was so close to throwing for 380+ and 3 tuddies. Pope needs to challenge some manhood in his room.

Nico played his best game. Highest PFF grade on the team last night and a 147 QBR. Hopefully, whatever he was going through is done. Now we just need some healthy WRs that hang on to big passes.
