Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Listened to VQ PC this AM.

The marketing team had some good points.

Kudos to Nico for getting better. Where would this team be without his arm?

Dylan Sampson, we will miss him.

That secondary, hats off to Willie Mo and Tim Banks for getting out of their own ways to make this team better. And, they have.
VQ, what a bunch of morons. It is the same as if the drunk idiots next to me Saturday made a podcast. It's a good listen if you want your eyes to bleed.

Right on. Also, if part of the equation is losing your QB, then we lost him in our 30 point loss. So, it probably wouldn’t have been a 30 point loss if he plays the entire game. It was an 18 point game, and he fumbled when he got hurt. Then, we turned it over on downs the next series with Milton.

People just want to believe the committee does the right thing. But it’s just picking and choosing what criteria to use, just like the NCAAT selection committee. If there is ever a time to use head to head with equal records (and UT having better wins), it was then.
You just validated the committee lol. You just said we weren't as good without hooker. That's exactly what the committee said.

UT - 27
Memphis State - 24

Memphis State came to Knoxville for Homecoming in Majors’ first season. A steady rain didn’t deter the Vols, as they amassed 423 yrds of offense. Jimmy Streater passed for 140 yrds and ran for 2 TDs. Chip Linebarier and Clark Duncan were forced into starting roles in the secondary due to injuries. Each made big plays, as Chip had an interception and Clark blocked a FG, in the 27-24 victory. Kelsey Finch added 106 yrds rushing and a TD.

So many solid posters have left the last few years…right when UT gets good.

Strange.
volatil is the strangest one for me. Dude disappeared right as the 2022 season and Heupel era was starting to take off. Last logged in Sept. 15, 2022. Didn't even get to celebrate the UF victory on here, let alone the Bama win. I know that message boards are far down the list of priorities for most people but it's a bummer for someone who was a fixture on here to not be around when we start having success.

It gets emptier and emptier every year.

It’s really sad.

Those people got a lot less than they deserved. If it was 20 years ago the cops would have never had to respond, the fans around the drunk azz would have beat him to a pulp. Today people think they can do anything without consequence and that is why we have all this rioting, looting, lawlessness, and other horse💩. If more of these fools got their azz whooped there would be a lot less of them. Either your daddy whips you when your young ore life whips you when your grown. Whatever you reward, you get more of. Remember that Libs.
Ok, there's a lot goin on there.

You seem to be pretty young. Maybe i'm wrong, don't take that as condescension.

I vividly recall seeing Raghib Ismael run it back in Neyland, and thinking, 😳 During that day to now, ive never, not once seen fans take it upon themselves to 'beat that azz.'

I have however, 100% of the time seen Police do their damn jobs. Even seeing police pin people to wall, and carry them out over their heads, legs arm and leg chained.

Ok man. You need some of @Weezer gummies.
