Utah has screwed me all year. They're on my banned list. No idea how to bet them. I like betting on UGA to hedge emotionally if we lose haha.

I don't see any way Sampson doesn't get to 25 with at least 5 games to go, 2 against horrible defenses. 29 is definitely possible.

Henry's record is for 15 games iirc. I don't know about the others. We've played 8.

Their 2 ranked wins will help them.

Honestly the committee should see more of a sliding scale of wins and losses, and overall SOS, but no guarantee. Many folks still operate on "ranked" wins vs not. Even when 35-40+ teams are ranked by votes, only the top 25 are published, and thus respected by many.

*Seriously, and this is going to sound bad, I think VN was funner when we were terrible. The sunshine pumpers/ nega-vol era was addictive to me. Some of the best times I've had on here were during coaching searches (Grudenmania). I still enjoy reading/posting with you all but the "hope" years were special, IMO.

There's truth to this. The BB forum was great during the Conzo and the Donnie Tyndal days. Bitching, fighting, and crying.

Don't get me wrong I'll take the winning with Rick Barnes 100% of the time, but the BB forum is kinda meh now

Yes he had 15. Sampson will beat most, if not all of them.

For sure.

Analytically, we shouldn't be as high as we are in the AP/Coaches poll. Our close games signal future struggles, if not losses. Just getting past the lot of UF in OT, Bama, UK was quite nice. Luckily humans look at W-L much more than W-L margins, however incorrectly, it gives us time to correct ourselves. And with a young QB, we can genuinely hope it comes to fruition. Now the vet WRs need to get their shiz together. New week, new problems

I wonder how the committee will craft the narrative. Will they say Vols are in but any additional loss will bump them out? I just wonder if they will plant those types of narrative seeds to excuse their later moves.
