Recruiting Football Talk VIII

The refs were absolute trash last night by the way.
Watching games at home, I don’t yell at the refs… whole different story at the game. My daughter was laughing at me as I was losing my mind over the horrendous lack of holding calls. It was awful. I don’t know how the coaches don’t get thrown out of games because it’s so bad.

Something needs to be done.😈

By the way, tv coverage is awful compared to being able to watch it in person. The camera crews choose what they want to highlight. It’s bad how often they miss all the horrible calls or no calls from the referees. 😡

The largest crowd to ever see a football game in the State of Tennessee (52,174) saw the Vols play Georgia Tech. After a scoreless first half, the Vols erupted with 3TDs in the third quarter.
Harold Stancell intercepted a Kim King pass and returned it 36 yrds for a touchdown for the first score. Charlie Fulton ran for 133 yrds and passed for 103 yrds in the Vols 21-7 victory.

What’s y’all’s prediction for this recruiting class finish? I got:

Daune Morris-RB
Isaiah Campbell-DL
Zelus Hicks-S

We’re making a nice push for Merritt, but I’m guessing he sticks with Miami. I wouldn’t rule out a late OL surprise from someone currently committed who has a change of heart. But not ready to predict that.

I’ll have to see CBs start flowing in for Zelus to believe it
