Thoughtful serious me for a second..Happy Hump Day.
November 6, 2024: You will have an opportunity to remedy an ongoing problem. But, you must be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit and not allow your flesh to rule. Listen for the still small voice within you, and be obedient to divine direction. 1 Kings 19:11-12 Then He said: Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord. And behold the Lord passed by, and a great strong wind tore into the mountain and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.
"I don't like making just the safe hire that you think is going to be good enough to not get you fired as an AD," White said. "We're going to swing for the fences, and I'm not going to hire somebody that I think is just going to be good enough. I want to hire somebody that has a chance to make us elite. I was the most confident that Kim could give us the spark that we need. I don't see any reason why it won't work."
"We have a lot of other sports that can win a national championship," White said. "We've got to get women's basketball where they are one of those programs that is capable of doing it. It's one of -- if not our top priority. It has to happen."
It's crazy that with all those great RBs and OLs that we had from the mid 80s to the mid Aughts that we have had no one on that list until now...but we always had pretty big stables so I guess that is why. I think we were pretty balanced most of the time also.Bet he’s tied for 5th after this weekend
I love it as well. One must ask why a father would speak in a quiet voice. It's generally because they want you near them. <3Thoughtful serious me for a second..
That whole passage from the "contest" at Carmel to that "still small voice" is one of my favorites in the OT. There is SO much to be learned from it, and it has helped me get through difficult and confusing stretches of my life so many times.
