Bob is a nice guy...he is the epitome of mediocre at broadcasting Tennessee Volunteer football games. It wasn't just that he followed the GOAT, it is the fact that he is horrid at the job. We went from the penthouse to the basement...nobody was going to compare to Ward, but we could have gotten someone infinitely better than mushmouth boring Bob.

I hate that his inadequacy bothers me so much, he really is a nice guy, but if I had ever went into somebody's house and botched up their floors as an installer...I sure as hell wouldn't be expecting an attaboy when I left...as a matter of fact I would have left unpaid and sued for damages.

I'm not sorry that I am absolutely ecstatic to see him gone. I wish he had been as good at his job as he was at being a good man....but he wasn't.

We keep talking about our slow starts and what the problem is. If you look at our last few games, we have moved the ball down to scoring position on our first drive of every game, but we’ve just shot ourselves in the foot. I may be wrong but I believe Sampson has fumbled twice (the only 2 in his career) and we’ve missed a field goal or 2. If you get td’s in those situations then everyone is talking about how we are getting off to great starts on our first drives of the game. I think we see that again this week and start the game off right.
