Well, I wasn’t going to say anything but...... my uncle said he saw Mike Keith at the Ingles on Emory Rd around noon yesterday. He said Mike was buying a rotisserie chicken, a half loaf of bread, and a pack of American cheese. I thought it sounded weird at the time, but after Kesling's announcement today, it all makes perfect sense. Mike Keith will be the next "Voice of the VOLS" and was in town to negotiate the contract.

My buddy was getting gas at a Pilot off of the interstate between Nashville and Knoxville yesterday and he saw Mike Keith talking to the manager. He distinctly heard him say Go Vols as their conversation ended. As Keith was going to his car, my buddy saw what looked like a University of Tennessee media guide in his hand.

The Vols could only muster 170 yrds of offense, but the defense forced 4 Hurricane turnovers in UT’s 10-6 victory over Miami. On 4th and goal from the two, Fulmer called an end-around to Derrick Tinsley, who scored the game’s only TD in the 2nd quarter.
