I didn’t read it as “unlimited eligibility”. Seems like he’s asking for the eligibility clock to restart when someone goes JUCO to NCAA level since JUCO has no NIL chances. Didn’t seem like a big deal to me.
Also seems like a small niche of players will benefit from this. Seems like JUCO guys either blow up and make the league quick or they don’t make the jump to NCAA well.
Agree 100% bout older guys still in the league. No need for that.I think that’s one interpretation of it. But the section that reads “adjudge and decree that the [NCAA’s] competition limitations…violates the Sherman Anti-Trust Act” sure sounds like it would set a precedent that eligibility limitations in general is an anti-trust violation.
Regardless, it’s dumb. Pavia doesn’t need 2 extra years of eligibility. Enough with the ******** of 25-29 year old college players.
Post it up. I've donated to dumber stuff. It's all come full circle. Took my oldest on her first campus tour today in Knoxville at utk. Had the youngest in tow as well..
Now I guess I gotta figure out how to play out of state tuition...
Surreal. There's been a member of my family at Tennessee since 1968. And it looks like that tradition will continue. Can I start a go fund me for me kids' college expenses?
